Absolutely gorgeous, I especially love echinaceas. I can't seem to get them down inSouth Texas. They will grow in semi-shade but they are brought every so often and then really late inthe year for our climate. Same thing orderiing through a catalog, they mail in april and by the time theyreach me the heat kills them in route. I need to get them Oct through February. Oh I do envy you guys. I do have Kim's knee hi and white swan that i got in Dallas and they are doing really good. Well enjoy some for me and hope they continue flowering for a while. Josie

I love it. My white swan from last year's batch is blooming now. I should have some Harvest Moon in a few weeks, I hope. They're growing like crazy. The purple ones are doing well too. I really want to add a lot more of these to the garden. They bloom all summer here. And I scatter seeds like nobody's business.

Renee, most of my hydrangeas were planted last year and were little more than twigs at the time. So they're still pretty small, but doing very well. Pippi, I use two cameras, an Olympus DSLR, which is what the new lens (a 70-300 zoom) was for, and a Pansonic Lumix FZ35 superzoom. The latter is my second Lumix FZ camera, and I can't recommend them highly enough, especially if you don't want to get into changing lenses, etc. They're sophisticated enough to let you do your own settings if you want, but if you don't, you'll get great results by leaving it on iA (Intelligent Auto). I'll post a link to my Flickr page below. The current pictures were taken with the above two cameras; older pics were shot with my older Lumix FZ5. Here's one of the Limelights. It was somewhat bigger before a deer discovered it. This is Sadie Ray, also new last year. I'm impressed with its development. All the hydrangeas, by the way, froze in June (along with all my apples) and had to start over then. And this is Endless Summer, not new but very slow to bloom for me. This is its best year so far. Ruby Star is a beauty I acquired it on saturday, along with several others. I keep adding to my collection knowing full well some will probably not do well but, what grows well in one garden doesn't in another so it's going to be an ongoing experiment as to what will grow for me. The Tikki Torch I picked up were young plants so don't know if I will see blooms this year. Even though my soil is well draining our winters and springs have been so wet in the last few years I've been concocting a plan to keep the crowns dry through the winter without covering them with mulch, kind of a crazy idea but it just might work, if it doesn't, back to the drawing board LOL. Have you got Razzmatazz? I love this one mine looks like bright pink pom poms. Pink Double Delight is similar but slightly different shape and a lighter pink. I would buy Pink Double Delight in bloom so you can see the difference, up here some of the PDD's being sold are really Razzmatazz. Coconut Lime is another fav. I didn't realize that some of these had such a nice sweet scent, bonus. Below a pic of my Razzmatazz. Annette
