Did it take too long for the plant to set fruit? Was the weather unusually uncooperative?

On Friday mornings. I put it out Thursday morning, so I don't forget. Well, yesterday was the second Friday that pickup was delayed. The phone message said they were sorry for the inconvenience but pickup would be NEXT Friday. Now, that means my trash has been sitting out in the sun all day last Thursday and Friday, and again Thursday and yesterday. ugh. The truck driver will have to use a gas mask while taking the trash out of the can! Found out from my aunt who is on the same route, that because of the flooding we had a couple weeks ago, the garage where the Waste Management sanitation trucks are parked was also flooded and many of the trucks need major repairs. So they are trying to find trucks from other areas to help out.
