seeing my husband asleep, he is in so much pain when he is awake and sleep is so fleeting for him, right now he is asleep. seeing sunshine pouring through my windows, snow melting, birds singing, (and in summer my garden makes me smile) seeing my son when he is happy and excited about life. seeing my mom (almost 90) and my sister still alive and having a good day, with less pain. my two kitties and the two kitties of my sons, they just love unconditionally seeing good people treating other good people, good and even being kind to people who treat them bad innocence

I have narrowed it down to some I found on a site. I am also posting this in the maple forum. I have heard fall colors are rare in mild climates. Any experience on that? Are these authentic names, or varieties created by this specific grower? Do the uprights I have listed spread wide, prunable? Any experience with these in California? Hi Laura, After reading your post, I had to share my experience with my Daisy Wilcox, also from Bill's parent tree, whixh makes it even more special to me! DW is also an enormous cutting. I had to put it into a bucket with the other cuttings just to keep her up right. What amazed me was that the tips had about 12 or so new tips trying to grow out of it. Right now, only 1 is actively growin but I am sure more will start growing this season. My 2 sets of antlers..aka Pyscho are also waking up and putting on new growth. Both of these are so big and heavy, I have decided to keep them indoors for a few more weeks, just in case our weather goes sour again. The smaller of the 2 Pyscho trees has one branch with 9 new branch buds on it! The other branch on the same tree is the same way, at least 5 or 6 new buds on it also! This has been one of the most rewarding plumeria that I own. The inflo size alone makes it worth me giving up the space for 2 trees. I measured one of the inflos with a tape measure last summer and it was 15 in wide!! Just amazing, and not to mention the scent witch is also incredible. Hi Stormy, Probobly in another year or 2, I will have to prune back the largest Pyscho, and if I do, I will let you know so I can share a cutting of it. It really is worth adding to your collection. Lovely! Thanks, Alisande! Driving at night in a tule fog is death-defying. Sometimes you can't hardly see the end of your hood. [::shudder::] We don't get much fog at all where I currently live, and I can't say I miss it. Maddie, you reminded me of a day when I was with a friend on a high road outside of Martinez, where it was bright, clear skies and singed hillsides (must have been September-ish). From the top of the hill or transition road or whatever it was, we could see all the way to the bay and SF. There was this black smudge out thataway, and I thought it was a huge fire. She laughed and said it was San Francisco. I said I knew it was but I was talking about the black smoke. She informed me that that was the fog. I was floored. Clear all around for miles and miles in all directions and that black cloud blanketing the city.
