Michelle, I detected NO fragrance. They've got one more year, and if they don't shape up, they'll be shipped out..!! I hate to be so fussy, but I am up to my eyeballs in amaryllis bulbs and the ones that don't make me Ooh and Ahh will just have to go, Now if I lived in a climate where I could just leave them in the ground and let them do their thing it wouldn't be so bad if I didn't really love something..I have a Susan that I'm also not in love with, Not exactly crazy about Lilystar, but will give it another year, and there are a few more...One more year to "prove their stuff" as Noni says.... Your wintersown gloriosas have done very well! Vic, Your hibiscus was worth the wait! Ok, a few from me. Fulva rosea. This is the "pink" version of a ditch lily. It is where the pink coloring in daylilies originally came from. I've found it hard to catch the pinkiness of it in photos, but I finally got a pic. It seems I can't do it. This forum doesn't allow direct uploads, so I tried to post it in one of the GardenWeb gallery forums, but it was rejected b/c the file was too large. If anyone has any ideas, I would be happy to try again. I am, by the way, pretty sure that the picture I have is the one you are looking for. I downloaded it from this site sometime last year: lots of tall trees and an absolute carpet of bluebells. It makes one happy just looking at it!
