take pictures of bouquets for what? do you sell bouquets, and you need pictures of them online? what kind of camera do you have?
if you have a decent digital camera, there should be a macro setting.. (usually picture of a flower).. that enables you to get close to the subject, and still be in focus.. if there is no macro mode, get as close to it as possible, without it being blurry.., it's better to crop a bit if you need to, rather than having a close-up blurry picture..
also, never EVER use a flash!!! NEVER!!!!! personally, I dont like to use studio lighting... I prefer natural light.. try taking your pictures during the day, near a window, but not under direct sunlight.. either in a shade, or near the window but w/ the curtains down.. you'd want some nice contrast without being too harsh..

The idea was to create a portfolio with bouquets not single flowers. And try to keep expenses as minimal as possible because it is not for a commercial use. So I found it difficult to find out how exactly photos could be taken. I saw that others are using a special screen as a background that I have not. Then I told with one photographer and she mentioned that if I would buy a screen then I need lights actually more than one (front, rear, sides, almost like a rocket science), that means a photographer has to come to some place with all that equipment. If I try to imagine what my boss could say seeing that somebody come with all of this stuff and asking to make a shot of bouquets. I will be kicked out of the shop. :)

I like your idea about blur background, may be this could work in my case. Do you have an example of a bouquet photos? I looked over your album, whereas some photos are really interesting it seems you have not other flowers there except those that you posted above.

I do take a lot of photos of flowers, but not so much since I got my new camera. I agree with the advice you have been given, and not having a true macro lens, I have to find ways around it. And I don't always fill the frame and crop because I have extra pixels to work with.

I do use fill flash for flowers if they are in the shade sometimes which is a great help, sometimes with the onboard flash and better when I have my external flash that I put a homemade diffuser on. In the house, I prefer the natural daylight and NO FLASH. In spite of not having a true macro lens (which you really don't need for whole boquets), I do have a camera that gets very low noise photos at higher ISO's (forces a faster shutter speed) compared to point and shoot cameras.

So if you can't bump up the ISO (I used ISO 400 on the sample(s) I posted, I'd use a tripod which will allow you to extend the exposure time without camera shake/blur. I usually shoot aperture priority where I can control the depth of field and get a nice blurred background (bokeh) if I want it.

If you are using a point and shoot digicam, I'd use the macro setting as suggested, or if you have it, use aperture priority, about f4 to f5.6 (the camera will choose the shutter speed). If you don't get a faster shutter speed, beg or borrow a tripod if you don't have one or put your camera on a beanbag on a stool, ladder, whatever, and used the timing feature so it won't blur.

Be sure to use center focus point, I guess metering isn't a big issue in this type of situation, depends.

I would definitely not take my boquets to a studio and mess with studio lights.

I do a lot of post processing in Adobe CS2 which really helps bring out the best in photos. Post processing can make a photo really pop. Everything I learned about photography other than pointing a camera and clicking the shutter, I learned by reading forums on the net and getting help from people. And I consider myself a lightweight compared to the pros.

I decided I didn't like the shadow cast by the window light which looks like a stain, so I "bleached" it out in CS2, also took the brownish spot out of the vase. Two samples, the second one I had printed 8X10.
