Hi Kasha, I didn't get any green worms up here, some pests but the meem oil mix tends to protect the leaves pretty good (on the underside of the leaves). I bought the powdered stuff for earwigs and it's crap. Gotta find the pellets for next year. I slacked off the spraying of neem oil and a few plants ended up with leaves removed. I don't know if the neem works for green worms as I haven't seen any. I take 2 or 3 shots of each view I want to have, so I go through about 9 shots to get 3...lol. I shake too much or the winds do it, either way, I need lots of shots to chose from. My camera has a half click capability for focusing on the middle object then I press hard. It works pretty good. Thanks - Sandy

Cointx, I got my camera about two and a half years ago, so things may have changed considerably since then. At the time, cams were either PC only (no Mac) or were so freaking complicated to set up that you had to be a network engineer. The one I got, DLink 931L, was the easiest I could find to set up and get going. It connects wirelessly to your wireless router, so you only need a power connector. And you can call up your cameras using any web browser, or from your phone. I would love a better picture, but would think in 2.5 years the quality hopefully improved big time. Someone else might have some recommendations for newer webcams with better quality, easy setup, and easy to-use features.

Just Kristy--I don't quite remember where I got him (and his brothers--I have 3 of them), but I ordered another one for this spring--from Roses Unlimited. (Yes, I'm going for 4 Peter Mayles!) Actually, the latest one was supposed to be a replacement for an earlier one that was a weakling and I worried he wouldn't make it through the winter. Little did I know we would have the mildest winter on record for this area. Little fella has perked up and may even bloom--though it will probably be a couple more years before he attains anywhere near the size of the other Peters. So now I have an extra Peter, but never fear, I've already figured out the perfect place for my replacement Peter Mayle! If Roses Unlimited is out of Peter Mayles, try either Reagans or Pickering. I know I have ordered several roses from them both in the past 2-4 years--which is about how old my Peter Mayles are, so maybe that is where I got them. Kate

Diesel , 8 years old and slowing down. He is a character. Very mopey like "eyore " from Pooh. Enjoys sitting in the garden but if I leave him on the couch and return 8 hours later he will not have moved! He was our " wedding " gift to ourselves. We flew home from our honeymoon and got in the car and drove 6 hours to pick him up. When he was a pup he chewed through the door frame trims , the corner wall by our stairs , and when he'd eat we had to spread it all around the kitchen floor so he could run around picking it up. Otherwise he would bury his head in the bowl and inhale it .. way too quick! And one year I got an order of bare roots in and was soaking them in a bucket on the porch , and he dragged them out and chewed them all to bits ! Agh . We love him anyway;) A little pumpkin for you!
