Allium, 'aflatunense'

(Alliums give color to my gardens when not much else is in bloom).

Very nice!! I like the edging done to the photo also.

I have seen a few blooming down here, but they were a different colour.

Very nice Julie.

You could turn it into a get greeting card.

Thank you all for your kind remarks! I think you all would have a wonderful time visiting this place...I go there often...It is so beautiful all around and end up taking gads of pictures. I guess you could say Beaver Creek State Park is becoming like a family member...

That's really nice! I've noticed that with geese shots, you get odd groupings which doesn't make for good composition. Yours were cooperative, and you got good results there.

Yum! My neighbor just brought some over a couple of days ago. It's one of my favorite vegetables. My neighbor eats it raw right out of the garden, also steams it, and his wife makes pickled asparagus (yuk), and she sells it for $10/quart jar. Personally I like mind stir-fried. How do you fix yours? Julie

Thanks, guys.

Allium blooms are sometimes fragrant, but the cut stems aren't. The stems smell like onions, which is probably why critters stay away from them.
