ok - soon as we get some cold weather (later this week) I'll be sorting through photos. Today and tomorrow it's supposed to be high 40s - Jan Feb weather??? so I'll be outside working in the woods, clearing out invasives etc. But back to freezing after that. I must admit I spend more time looking at catalogs, magazines, and online this time of year . . . dreaming of spring!

I no longer have those. I now have some others though if you are interested please email me. I do not have them listed. TY Deb estrail1rider@yahoo.com Here is a link that might be useful: DavesGarden

I'm absolutely serious, this is where I throw the bulbs that I can't use: This is about 40' from the edge of the woods, full shade but not quite "deep" shade. You can see that they're all leaning trying to reach the sun, but the only "planting" that was done was with leaves falling on them! These irises and mondo grass are both indestructible. I've sprayed mondo grass with Round Up before, and I swear I heard the mondo grass laugh! LOL

you do ... what you gotta do. when you gotta do it ... so.. just dio it ... are there better times to do this.. sure .... but so what ... if done properly... with proper after care.. you should be all set ... they just arent going to perform this season the way you would expect ... i might pot them in good media.. for supreme aftercare during the heat of summer.. and properly plant them in fall .... and i would site them in shade ... just to reduce shock.. and i could move them in fall ... i would remove all flowers at transplanting... just to reduce water demands on a new transplant ... ken
