Peaches have several diseases that will show up after a few years. Then, there are a few pests that damage the fruit. Spray wettable sulfur like Kocide 3000 in late fall after leaves are mostly gone and in early spring before trees leaf out can prevent a few bacterial and fungal diseases. If you do have brown rot, look for a product like Monterey Fungi Fighter or Indar. Follow the label. Not all funcicide create equal. Then, read up on insecticide. Those Oriental Fruit Moth, plum curculios, stinkbugs, codling moths will find your fruit sooner than later. look up reputable university extension services like Cornell, Penn State or North Carolina State Extension services. Check their fact sheets on peaches. It is worth reading up and prepare for it.

I use Weiman SS Cleaner & Polish or Pledge in the brown can...both do a great job of removing all sorts of smudges/spots. They also appear to "repel" future fingerprints...at least I don't seem to get very many for a couple of weeks after using them. I find that other than wiping off spots from cooking, I only have to wipe down my SS appliances to get rid of fingerprints every 2 or 3 weeks... The DW needs much more frequent cleaning, though, since it gets water spots/streaks from dishes. I'm not sure I'd use BKF unless I had actual scratches on it...or if nothing else works.

Looking at that picture I can just hear him saying "I am not an animal... I'm a feline being!" When I first saw the title I saw Smudge's escape, and all of a sudden the Mission Impossible them started playing in my mind, and probably his as he told Roxie, "I'm breakin outta here baby, ya with me or not?" He was shopping for the *real* "Tender Vittles". And don't underestimate cat vs. rabbit. A big boy like Smudge can pounce and a good chomp can handle a rabbit, especially a young one. Oh and you probably just don't have yours trained yet. My cats have always done what I tell them... Eat... Sleep... Ignore me... How big is your balcony? You could get some of the kennel pieces that made from chain link and put around it or even fashion your own and it would let them enjoy the outdoors a bit. I've been thinking of doing something like that out my front door.

OP, I like the last inspiration pic you posted the best (the bottom pic). Consider working with someone to photoshop your home with those colors. Then you can see what works. You would need to make sure your landscaping is terrific if you choose to go with a dark on dark look IMO.
