The weather has not been very cohesive to taking pictures lately, so one of these is from this past spring and the landscape photo is from a couple weeks ago. I cropped both to try and get the right affect. My adventurous and demur (not really!) kitty A sunset scene from near our place, which I think would be better if the trees on the right were taller. I'll be keeping this assignment in mind for future photography for sure, it really is a nice effect that one could get very creative with. Thanks again ladies :)

It is a museum now....I have a picture of my DH sitting on a stool in the corner wearing a dunce hat....he said that was where he usually was at his elementary school in Michigan. LOL

gmom74, I lock the ducks up at night to keep them safe. Here is a series of photos. Some are out of focus. Letting them out in the morning Running out to their yard. Out foraging. They eat slugs, snails and puppy dog tails. No tails, but lots of weeds. It rained hard last night. Collect the eggs from the nest boxes Eleven eggs this morning. We have 12 females. Over all view. Duck house,ponds,three fenced yards. Happy ducks. Eric

Eric, I wish we had room for a nice screening hedge but the south side of the house is too near the property line. I just hope whoever buys the house doesn't put those tall growing evergreens along the fence. There is not much room between the line and the edge of their driveway. Konrad, we don't like it either. There were some people over there the other day with a truck and a lot of conversation- on the garage side. It made me realize how it will sound with a family living there. Our property assessment actually went down this year! It had been inflated for the past two years and finally something got done about it.
