Thanks again all. I think she may associate hands with the gloves they used to pick her up with. They showed them to me and they were pretty scary looking to me let alone poor Sasha. C3D: I stopped at Petco after I got off work last night and bought a spray bottle of Comfort Zone. OMG. It works too good!!! I only used two sprays and sprayed my hands hoping it would help. She was sniffing the air like a bunny rabbit. Then she started yawning, and yawning, and yawning........after about ten yawns she curled up and went to sleep. I couldn't get her to play after that. Maybe I should have only used one spray. I sat with her for 1/2 hour singing Jingle Bells while she slept. She seems to calm down when I sing to her. Then I saw something moving out of the corner of my eye. I jumped and she woke up. There was a spider crawling up the wall about a foot away from my head. I had the kitty toy laser pointer with me and pointed to the spider with it. Forget our lessons. She was climbing the wall trying to get the spider. She crawled across my lap, but as soon as I moved my hand slightly she ran behind the toilet again. I left her with the spider and told her it better be gone when I returned (I hate spiders). It was gone when I went back. That toy kitty glove is a great idea. I will pick one up when I go shopping this weekend. My original plan was to have her stay in my bedroom, but I thought we could be more up close and personal in a smaller area so I housed her in the bathroom. Since the bathroom is off my bedroom I had planned on giving her the bedroom and bathroom for a while. Then hopefully the rest of the house at a later date. I have a kitty condo in front of the window in my bedroom that will be a change of pace for her. Of course it will be off limits then to Willow, McLovin and Boa. But they can have the sunroom. I just don't want to make the mistake of giving her too much room too soon and undoing the progress we have made over the last two weeks. Jenny

Teresa, My itnital response wasn't that I didn't like him, it was that he totally offended every last fiber of my poodle snobbiness, lol. For those who don't know, I spent 9 years in my younger days with some of the top winning poodles of the time, some of which are now the top winning or producing poodles of all time. I have had the pleasure of personally knowing breeders who actually developed poodles in this country and actually worked for someone who was recently reconized as one of the top poodle breeders of all time. So with that being said, I'm a admitted poodle snob and the first rule in Poodle Club of America and AKC rules is that a poodle must be of a solid color. Shading variants are allowed in some colors, but the skin must be a solid color, PERIOD! So of course this parti color I now have was the last thing I wanted. But sometimes the heart over rules the mind and preset prejudges. I couldn't leave him with him being as sick as he was (the vet said he was just days away from dead), I knew I had the training to bring him back. Even so, I never really intended to keep him, but again, the heart thing. So now I have my Chewie. FYI, his name came about as a slap to his former owners from hell, they dumped him with the excuse that he chewed everything, oh gee, imagine that, a puppy that chews, when in reality, they didn't want to put the effort into his medical and mental needs. Without even going into the medical needs of any dog, if you are not up to a highly intelligent breed that needs constant mental stimulation, do not get a poodle. And he did chew the first week I had him, but simple training in redirection, aka, a firm no when he chewed what he shouldn't and then giving him his own things to chew solved the problem, and as I said, took me all of a week to do it. He started with the name Ozzie, but I thought he need a new name for his new life. I wanted to call him Remus since I couldn't call him the name I set aside for the black male I wanted, Cyrius, (any HP fans out there?). My second choice was DaVinci, to go with my love of the old masters. But my hubby wouldn't go for it and since he was nice enough to let me keep and rehabilitate this dog, I gave in on the name thing. Technically, he's Chewbacca and as much as I love Star Wars, I wouldn't have chosen a name from it for a poodle, lol.

:( Soo sad that I missed this. I would have loved to join (and still will if can). I am a newbie and understand that I trade first. While I do not have many plants established, I can think of many ways to give from my heart!!

Viola - pretty colors that I don't have! Sweet William 'Heart Attack'- I love the color of this! Daylily 'David Kirschoff' Daylily Siloam 'Fairy Tale' Daylily 'Bela Lugosi' Daylily 'Nefertiti' I've googled these daylilies, and will absolutely love them blooming in my gardens!! Thank You soooo much Dee, for all of these wonderful flowers!!! I will get them planted and watered immediately! It's a nice cool day today. Last night we were in a frost advisory, and I've not been feeling well, picked up some kind of nasty cold virus, so I decided my plants were on their own. Didn't have the energy to go out and take care of them. Everything looked fine this morning. Tracy, hope your water situation was taken care of!
