Our temp actually got to 50 degrees--for about ten minutes, but now is heading down. However, the wind has been blowing hard all day. Anything that isn't nailed down is very likely to go flying away. March came in like a lion and is determined to go out that way, too. We may have snow showers on Palm Sunday. That's happened, before, but warmer weather would be nice!

toooooo many sleeps before I can get out. LOL nice link, Wendy.

Mantis, this is my first year that Marseilles Watercolor has bloomed. I got 2 small fans early last year and they've grown, a bit, but not divided yet. Bud count was pretty low, but the fans are still rather small...I didn't count but I'd be shocked if it were more than 10 per scape. Jury's still out, ask me again next year :D I might move her, haven't decided yet. Cheers! ~Anika Here is a link that might be useful: GothicLibrarian.net

I like the 2nd closeup. A guy I worked with used to have one of these bushes. He used to harvest the branches and would bring them to a florist. The plant provided a few bucks in the spring for at least the last 28 years and is still giving today.
