What has happened?

No new pictures have been posted in a long time. Where is everyone? And the red xs are everywhere. I hope it is iVillage and not my computer.

Go to Tools, click Internet Options, then click the Advanced tab. Make sure the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia, and click OK.

See if that helps.

Thanks,kurmudgeon. The 'show pictures' is checked. I turned my computer off last night and left it off in hopes that things would be back to normal this morning. I'm looking forward to seeing new pictures from people. Perhaps everyone is busy with other things.

looks like your media failed .. and you either drowned it.. or droughted it ... or summer sun is too much for it ... especially if there was media failure ... why dont you give us some facts about it ... pix alone dont make for good guessing ... how long you had it when repotted if ever how do you water it etc ... there is a very active houseplant forum .... if you wish to go beyond what we might tell you ... ken

Now that wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that in the feed if you click on over half the threads listed, they have nothing to do with kitchens, but are threads in design dilemma, laundry, appliances, paint, cleaning tips, etc. So it means you now have to wade through threads that have NOTHING to do with the forum you're interested in. When I go to the kitchen forum, I want to only see kitchen threads. I'm hoping they don't ruin all the forums.

Hang in there! I started some chocolate mint today and transplanted some rooted cuttings. It can be really maddening when you can't seem to get a weed to root! lol I am almost finished with a DIY for our blog on rooting mint. Send me a private email and I will send you the link when it is done. Meanwhile, impose on family, friends and friendly gardeners to give you pieces of their mints to try. After they laugh, because everyone knows it is simple (not for everyone!) take them home and try with a different type! Put the jars on a bright windowsill. Pretty soon you will have enough rooted to give to friends and all visitors. lol Another place for extras is a food bank. Pot them up in a little soil and they will be loved and cherished by all who take them home.

I just started winter sowing last year, and found this forum through recommendation. I had tremendously good luck with it, and will post results later on including pics (rather busy now). Even seeds I couldn't find info for did well for me - perhaps beginner's luck, but I think it had to do with our mild, wet winter (zone 7). I hope you find the info you're looking for Deanna! There are so many varieties of flowers and plants... I got rather confused as to which I should try first and want a bit overboard! FWIW, the only mistake I made was planting some of my seeds too late (Mid March).

We have had computer problems the last few days, went to an infected website that infected our computer, we could not get to any other websites after that.

The red xs are gone today and the pictures are back. I'm glad to see the forum is back to normal. Or maybe it's my computer is back to normal.

The forum was crazy for a couple of days, garden web was having problems.
