Thanks Sherry! I really appreciate that. We've been working so hard, but between the craziness of last summer working 60+ hours a week at a bad job, having my mother in law move in unexpectedly, getting married, and then just the sheer cost, we had a pretty rough landscape/garden last summer lol. I'll definitely keep everyone updated. I'm so glad the weather has warmed up a bit, despite the constant rain. I swear gardening keeps me sane.

Seil, those are beautiful! I got my first very recently as well! Monday, March 9! These are always my first to come up every year, and they have even bloomed in February here in my South Michigan Z5b garden. I believe them to be Iris reticulata and they are so very blue! I need snowdrops and croci as well. I've gone ahead and pruned all of my roses since they're beginning to stir as well! Steven

He replied : “anytime in next 2-3 weeks should be fine; better early than late.” Morpheus: do you have a reference for bacterial role in decline of pre-emergent activity, and the thermophilic nature of those bacteria? ( I don’t doubt it; I‘ve just never read about it ).
