@patricia Colwell Consulting - Thanks. We like the idea of the light coming out the sides from behind the mirror instead of through frosted glass on the edges of the mirror. I think the photo below shows something like this. What do you mean by “center lighting”? Do you have an example of what this would look like?

Totally agree that it is a consistent location to look for numbers. We are at the end of our street, (actually on the outside corner) and our house faces the perpendicular street. As such the parcel box has vinyl numbers on its left side for people coming down our street and on the front side (being the traditional location) These were an interim solution as it’s a new estate and to assist deliveries. My wife wants them down as they are vinyl stickers.

Hello! I'd say both backlit and front lit mirrors would be able to provide the lighting you need for a tiny bathroom. It would depend more on the style and look you want to achieve for the space. I have attached some examples below for both front lit and back lit. We also have LED Medicine Cabinets which I think it might be quite suitable for a small bathroom that you have so you can have more storage space. I hope this helps! Look at the installation instructions for the LED mirror that you plan to purchase. The mirror may require at least one inch clearance around the perimeter. A 72-inch wide lighted mirror will be heavy (80-100 lbs?). Make sure that you will be able to have two-inch long mounting screws at each of the four corners for installation. You can have a local company custom-make an LED lighted mirror to the size that you want and install the mirror for you.
