when i say foo foo.. in this setting ... i am comparing species traits ... which would be replicated thru seed gathering ... as compared to genetics taken to the ultimate end product with a bizarre extreme flower or some such .. which either end up sterile ... or do not come true from seed ... either way.. you need to rebuy the seed ... docmom... i was to lazy to research out this persons plant.. i figured.. as soon as i said they favor one color spectrum.. that i was probably stepping in it.. lol .. but some things should be left to the poster ... I think you're right! But I also didn't think either one should be blooming now/still - it's been a very strange year plant wise - also, these California poppies don't look anything like the packages of California poppies I've been buying as seeds....hmmm is there more than one kind of California poppy? the other more similiar to other poppy varieties in leaf structure, seedhead, and blooms?
