What a pretty blue! Nice to have such a visitor! ~Rosemarie

I am new to this birding stuff, but I will add my two bits. For the first time I had one show up in my yard about two weeks ago. Saw him on the feeder a few days after that. I have a hopper feeder with pretty much everything thrown in the mix. Fruits, nuts, berries, thistle, BOSS, all thrown in with the stuff that usually comes in the generic wild bird mix stuff. He was hanging out there the first two times I saw him, but since then all his time has been on the tray below the BOSS tube feeders. I would venture to guess the guy hanging around my yard prefers BOSS on a elevated tray. Scott

Oh gosh flowerchild, that is a really sad finding. I feel sure that you are correct. They must have crashed right into the window. My sister has a female Bluebird who is attacking her windows, and she found a website that sells really nice window decals to prevent this kind of thing from happening. The ones she bought were quite pretty. Here is the site if you want to check it out. I am sure that lots of businesses sell this type of thing. You can Google for more of them. That's what I would do. I would put up some decals to try to alert them so that you decrease the chances of having this happen again.~~Angie Here is a link that might be useful: Window Decals
