Kay, Madonna Arsenault is new for me, I bought her last fall. I was waiting for her to open and I think it was worth the wait! Jean, thanks for the comments about the seedlings. MA is a beauty isn't she? Mantis, Stephanie has been here two years and is improving each year. Maximus, Lexington Avenue has also been here 2 years. The first year she was buried under an annual shrubby plant that grew taller than her, 4'. I moved her to a raised bed in full sun and now she puts on a great show. Marg

Thanks, everybody. LilyKate, this is an early blooming year, no doubt because of the warm winter. Julianna Lynn nearly died when it first arrived, but came back strong, thank goodness. Hope yours will be loved as much as ours. Maryl, I had a sneaking suspicion you would like Sweet Isabela. Midnight Magic is really dramatic, but unfortunately, will melt out in the hot sun. Wow, so many people have Smokey Mountain Autumn, well, at least you know what the true color is.

Sounds like you got some nice plants! I'll look forward to seeing pictures next year, I'm not familiar with several of them. Nice blooms too, going for you, I think my favorite is Hot seat though, Wide Awake a close 2nd. Party Pinafore did not bloom its first year in my garden, last year it did bloom, but not great. This summer though it was outstanding, seemed to go on & on.

I did try to put another section in comments but lost it twice. As I said, so many blooming now (you know, Kay) that it is hard to select just a few when you have so many you want to show. I think this is the year for Clown Parade to shine-unbelievable how much it has multiplied and has decent bud count and scapes. This is a small section of my roadside bed. I had posted part of the round bed close to the house in the comments that would not post and I have three other large beds in the front garden. Oh, and another half of that roadside bed-and the beds that surround the house and glory, glory, I now have the reclaimed jungle bed!!! I think I will save all those pictures and dedicate a post just to those. Thank you for comments!! Oops, forgot to mention that the Starling lily has not multiplied well-this is third year and I have two scapes up and no increase in fans. Time for a talk?
