Why thank you for all the compliments, everybody! :) Last year I took pictures of some of my daylilies both morning and late in the day, because I wanted to see how faded out some of them could get to be. I'm doing it again this year for the same reason, and compare the difference in the colors between the two times of day. Yup, monitors do play havoc on the colors of the pictures, and the camera can never quite get the colors we see just right, only the colors it can grab. And then, the monitors go and mess things up a bit too. Always great to see the posies in person. njmomma- I don't ever use a flash, the flash messes things all up. What you see in the pictures is what the camera picks up without a flash. i_dig_it- Dewy Sweet is about, I guess, three inches? Something close to that. The scapes are about 15-18" tall. And that is Velvet 'N Lace dianthus. I winter sowed it in 2008, now its second year, it's very floriferous! Though floppy, probably from not enough full sun and the ton of rain we've had. Karen

Thanks, all! Mantis, I just got FF last September and there is only one scape (two fans), it is a bit shorter than registered height right now. I had to measure Jamie Dockery, it looks like most of the scapes are a bit shorter than the registered height. JD is one of two (the other being Early Shirley) that I noticed has a couple of rebloom scapes.

Rina I've bin trying to keep plants with similar light requirement's together and aloes seem to luv this spot. Barb don't have a clue as to the names of most of my plants and don't obsess as most do. Richard
