Fantastic photos Keith! The 'Kasagi Yama' is especially stunning. I think mjsee may be right about your 'Yuri Hime'. I've seen it listed a bunch of places recently, but none of the pics match what I believe is the true cultivar, otherwise I'd pic up another one as it is easily in my top five favorites. Here's a pic of mine, it's 10-12 years old and 21" inches high by 32" wide. If you graft, and need scions let me know. P.S. looks like I've got to get the gold creeping Jenny under control :) Dan

good looking garden Sherry!.. I love most colors..but blue is my favorite..I love blue with green..💕 it was too wet for pictures today..a picture from my kitchen window tonight.. I cropped the picture to show Empress Wu and Coast to Coast..they blend together in the pic..there's Krossa Regals on both sides of Empress Wu and Coast to Coast.. the neighbor's contractor has plastic covering tools and supplies..I get it but can't wait until he's gone..they're building a sunroom and started in March..

These are really nice photos for so late in the season. Your daylilies look so good. But I guess it's not that late in the more northerly climates, so I can look forward to more of your pictures......Your Real Wind is one of my favorites. Grown to perfection. And your Orange Smoothie is the color I like best. Mine is still blooming, and it looks like another rebloom scape is coming. It just doesn't seem to want to quit this year, although in our heat, it really ought to. The color is very pale in 100 degree heat (although the petal substance is still remarkable)..........Cherokee Star looks familiar. Even to the "tongue" sticking out. There's that one petal on almost all of my blooms that doesn't want to reflex back.........Her Best Bloomers is nice as well as all the others...........Maryl

It was indeed a wonderful way to spend a morning! Thanks for all your responses and I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. Here are a few more. Behind one of the buildings there was a small garden of mostly annuals. It couldn't have been much bigger than maybe 12x12 or 14x14 feet, but it was so beautiful and colorful. Dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, tithonia, celosia, very tall amaranthus (looked like Dreadlocks to me, which I've grown but it has never gotten to five feet tall lol!), cleome, ageratum, and I think that's all of it. Such a wonderful little spot, alive with color and buzzing with pollinators! Cafe au Lait Emory Paul - this dahlia was HUGE! I don't think I've ever seen such a big dahlia and I've grown some pretty big ones! When I looked around in the dirt for the tag I was surprised to see the name. I've never grown Emory Paul but I've heard the name, being, I believe, an older dahlia. WOW. I am adding this to my list next year. And much nicer color than I've seen in photos Cleome and ageratum Begonia Our favorite shed lol. Lots of photo ops here! My husband got some of the few remaining rose blooms in the surrounding rose garden More from the meadow - goldenrod and thistle :) Dee
