Where to get ink online?

I have a canon pixma i1600 printer and love it, it is ecocnomical to use for printing and prints photos that are awesome.

I cannot get the cartridges at Walmart anymore and tried to get them online there.

Any ideas on a reliable source for cheap ink?

Any one use the remanufactured cartridges?

I get ink at Newegg.com.
I tried the generic ink once, it ruined the printer within 3 days.

I don't know anything about this company but found them by googling: INK Refill Bottle SET If you have any spreadsheet program (excel, works) on your computer it should should print your numbers for you. Just type the first 2 or 3 in the column or row you want them in then select those cells, put your cursor in the corner of the last one and stretch it out as far as you want. It will automatically fill in the numbers.

I researched this recently when running low on ink for my Canon photo printer. What I learned, at least for this particular printer, is that there's no clear answer. Some people reported excellent results from refilling the cartridges, while others said "never again!" One thing I realized is that one person's satisfaction in the quality of a given print can be another person's disappointment. In the end I decided to buy Canon inks, and I got the best price on Amazon. Here's one idea: Go to Amazon and look up the recommended HP inks. Take a look at the consumer reviews. It's possible you'll see some comments about other options. Also, you might check out DPReview's Printers and Printing Forum. Do a search on HP ink or the model number of your printer and see what has been discussed. DPReview is a great resource.

I've used wallplateswarehouse.com in the past when I was looking for something different but needed the different configurations also. They weren't a bargain but I didn't find that they were overpriced. I still love them, in fact I took them with us when we moved!

I just put a new black ink cartridge in this morning. I used to have a Lexmark printer, but it wasn't compatible with my Dell computer, so I bought A Canon printer. I still have a new black ink cartridge, never opened for a lexmark, if anyone could use it. just email me. It is a Lexmark #17 black. I'm going to check out the sites you all mentioned for new ink cartridges. Dottie

I will look into those sites.
Walmart has it available on line, but I can't get
past the shipping page. I get a message that
says :
"This item cannot be delivered to some locations
due to carrier restrictions. Please go back and remove this item from your cart or change the delivery address."

The way that sounds to me is that it thinks it is a huge item or something.
You can't beat the price though- it is only $33.54 for a black and a color and 50 sheets of photo paper.4x6.

could you get it shipped to a local WalMart? Or won't it let you try that, either? Seems odd. Not like it's explosive or anything!

I never buy ink online. I tried once, I got a so-cslled "refilled" ink cartridge and it worked terrible-just streaks across the page. I buy HP inks from a local office supply store called Staples. yes, ,this is a national company. I feel better dealing with them because if I was unhappy with a purchase I could return it.
