Thanks for the comments everyone, it is appreciated. You're all so sweet. Bodica, habinita is my favorite perfume. I have lots of it. I currently have more bottles than I'll admit to... I prefer the toilet water. I get it in Bermuda, as I can't find it here anywhere. I know they have it on line as well, but I've never ordered it on line. elakro, The reason I have so many perfumes is my son has an Estee Lauder connection and gets me (twice a year)a large tote bag filled with Estee lauder perfumes, body creams, face creams and make-up. The make-up and face creams are clinique, and most of the fregrances are Estee Lauder. There are other perfumes in there as well like Donna Karon (heavenly). Two big tote bags a year makes for a lot of perfume. It's loaded with goodies, even the totes are fantastic, Tommy Hilfiger, (sp?) Donna Karon. Fantastic stuff. I love perfumes and body creams. I have a large Perfume cabinet in my bathroom as well, loaded with perfume, and I give away a lot of it as well. nacia, The glass cutters we have are called trigger cutters, I think. Our glass grinder was only about 80.00 when we purchased it in 1995. It's costly to get started, and it is an expensive hobby to begin with. We both love it. I have made a few jewerly boxes as gifts, but I really love making windows. We have windows in our house where we never had windows before. Cliff has installed 5 windows in our house and we made stained glass to fit them. We also made 12 windows as gifts. There is also a lot of cabinets, that you can put stained glass in to kick it up a notch. Right now I am working on a design of a koi pond to use as a fireplace screen for our fireplace. Since we have a few projects already lined up on the drawing board, I can tske my time with the design. :) I'm lucky my hubby like to create things as well, and goes along with all my crazy ideas. Our kids think we're nuts!

Since I had to divide them into fruity, myrrh, old rose and tea it made it even harder as I could not remember the particular smell of some of the roses. My choices were also dependant on the pics. This meant that some roses that were not top of the list got a mention. The story was part of a longer story on scented plants: This is what I said: Roses Defining and describing the scents of roses is a complex business. Basic scents are usually described as: Old rose, tea rose, myrrh and fruit, though there are many variations within these smells. The fragrance of roses is infinitely variable and is affected by temperature and flower age. Some smell best when brought inside. Our own nose changes in sensitivity during the day but will provide a galaxy of smells that add a new level to the appreciation of roses. FRUITY Madam Isaac Pereire an 18th century bourbon rose is often called the most fragrant of all roses. She has a heady raspberry scent, and deep pink-cerise colour. She makes a big shrub to 2m or pillar rose. Jude the Obscure is a spreading shrub from David Austin to 1.8m with cupped blooms of soft apricot blooms in clusters. Devoniensis and Lamarque are two of the best repeat flowering climbing roses to about 4.5m which both have an abundance of cream flowers. TEA ROSE This light, subtle fragrance is most often found in tea roses, which grow to 2m tall with continuous flowering and healthy foliage. Try warm pink/brick red Archiduc Joseph, peach pink Jean Ducher, red Francis Dubreuil or, apricot Lady Hillingdon OLD ROSE Constance Spry was one of David AustinÂs first roses and blooms just once in the spring with perfect mid pink blooms. She is thought to be the most fragrant of all his roses reaching 5 metres and is best treated as a climber or pillar rose. Mr Lincoln (deep red) is one of the most popular but is a tall rose to about 2m which looks best at the back of a bed. Two other deep red and tall roses bred from the same parents (Chrysler Imperial x "Charles MallerinÂ) are Papa Meilland and Oklahoma which are just as sumptuous. MYRRH You either love or hate this scent (some people find it smells to them like camphor) which is found more in David Austin roses than anywhere else. The soft pink ScepterÂd Isle which has a hint of aniseed in its smell grows to about 1.7m. Apricot-pink Ambridge Rose has neat bushy growth to 1m. ends regards Deryn

Interesting Oakley that Wood Sage and Sea Salt had such a bad beginning for you. But glad it was pleasant in the end. I've had other things like that but can't remember what they were right now. And sometimes I've had the opposite too of something I thought I liked originally then after a bit it was terrible. Thank goodness for samples!!! For you 'bad dog smell', if they are rugs, I'd set them outside in the sun and fresh air a few hours and that always did it for my Mom when we had a dog. Of course if the rug is large, that's no easy task! I had great luck with bad smells from a healthcare worker that we had for my Dad not too long ago. Talk about perfume overload!! She used essential oils, smoked cigarettes and then tried to cover all that up with some sort of strong cleaner or laundry detergent and a strong mouthwash!! I could smell ALL the layers. Yuk!! I was gagging and could not get 10 feet from her. We had to cover the chair she sat in with a blanket so it wouldn't permeate the fabric. My Dad had lost most of his sense of smell and he smoked cigars so it did not bother him plus she was great with him so I just put up with it. But I couldn't stand it and by the 3rd evening we had gotten an Orek air purifier. It was a larger newer model that I had used before but worked fantastic. I could now be in the same room with her. And by the next day, it was the freshest smelling room in the house. And she was no longer ruining the furniture. Maybe this could work for you? No I don't work for Orek or anything, just reporting what worked well for us and saved us from having to fire an otherwise great worker. The new bigger one we used is called Orek DualMax Air Purifier and the smaller size we had before was called the XL Professional Air Purifier. I've since even used the big one to get cigarette smoke and mothball smells out of a few leather purses and after a few days they smelled like leather again. In fact, I'm doing this same thing as a favor for a few friends of mine. Hope you can find something that can help you.
