Does your laundry come clean and smell good?

I don't find it does anymore. All this "ultra" stuff that costs more, uses more, and gives us less is not doing the job that a good "old" box of tide or liquid used to do. I now have to pre-treat and or pre-soak all stains and not just the greasy ones. Forget sock feet. They are a lost cause. And, nothing smells like anything without additives like fabric softener or dryer sheets. If I don't use bleach, I actually think my laundry stinks without them.
