don't know about the strawberry topping but sounds very good!

I agree. I would just serve with a raspberry sauce or raspberry preserves. The strawbwrry topping looks icky to me and way to much.

Everyone is coming to my home!! I will have:

We always do a sit-down dinner....final count looks like 9 people at the table.

Baked ham with whole cloves and fresh pineapple slices on top

Platter of two types of stuffed potatoes (I bake the potatoes, the cut them in half, spoon out the meat) -
The yams stuffed with mashed yams, butter, cinnamon and white potatoes stuffed with mashed potato, butter and chives)

steamed asparagus, lightly tossed in heated herbed oil and fresh lemon juice before serving

steamed french greens

chunky applesauce

I've been working on that..

We will be having 4 adults and 10 children. My husband will be the only Daddy..the other two Dad's are on deployment with the Navy.

Lastnight I think I narrowed it down.

Grilled pork loin with a peach grilling sauce and dogs for the kidlets.

Roasted Sweet potatoes
Red Beans and Rice
Layered salad or spring greens with candied pecans and vinagrette
Veggies with ranch dip and hummus
if the strawberries are good..those plus caramel dip (cream cheese and brown sugar)

Sweet Tea

Carrot Cake Sandwich Cookies
and maybe a caramel chocolate tart I came across

~one guest usually brings the "bunny cake", soda, chips and fudge(made by the 2nd oldest son).

I am so glad we started Spring Break today...I have the whole week off to prep and clean!

magic, restaurant where I go serves blackberry jam with their monte cristo sandwiches. Really compliments the sandwich. I think!

Company just left and after cooking and cleaning up after 5 for the last week I can happily say it's just the two of us for Easter! I'll think about it later--too tired now. We may eat out.
