All the recipes I've seen are just cream cheese and marshmallow cream:

# 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
# 1 (15 ounce) jar marshmallow cream

I don't care for a marshmallow dip for anything but apples....too sweet.
Do you have sour cream? Cottage cheese? Ricotta?
Any of them could be used for a slightly sweet dip fors weet potato fries....but I think I would rather have just slightly sweetened applesauce flavored with a bit of cinnamon.

The restaurant I eat them at serves them with a spicy chili ketchupy/salsa...

I just love them.

I've seen sweeet potato fries served with a mayo dip with curry. Atrtached is one recipe for that.

If you are really wanting a sweet one, I would try adding a little maple syrup to your marshmallow fluff and some cinnamon to taste. Maybe even a little softened butter. Actually, anything you would think to put on top of a sweet potato casserole would probably work out ok for a dip. Just keep mixing until you get the right consistancy.

If you go with a sweetened type dip, you may want to try rolling the fries into a cinn/sugar mixture instead of salt before dipping.

Actually shaun, sweet potatoes and marshmallow cream dip sound perfect for each other.

Although I've never done it, I understand that a common holiday dish is mashed sweet potatoes with those silly little marshmallows on top.

And since I like my sweet potatoes cooked both savory and sometimes cooked sweet, why not do baked sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce?

I've never done it but I'd be tempted to kick it up with some lemon or a hint of cinnamon-nutmeg or vanilla or brown sugar or maple syrup or finely chopped pecans or toasted fine coconut flakes. or some combination thereof. Maybe even mix it with peach yogurt -- think about it. Go crazy.

Thanks Joe, I ended up not making them tonight bcause hubs wasn't going to be home for dinner. So tomorrow nite I'll make them.

I'm going to mix up the fluff with a little vanilla and a dash of cinnamon; we'll see how that goes.

I make some fluff, cream cheese, vanilla and confectioners suger stuff. I just wing it when I want something sweet with strawberries. Not to much sugar because the fluff is sooooo sweet on it's own. I even add some Grand Manier sometimes!

I like my sweet potato fries with maple dipping sauce. I'd add some maple syrup to yogurt or sour cream or a mixture.

Shaun, you know that this wouldn't appeal to me, but I read about sweet potato fries with a maple marshmallow dip. Guess that makes sense because isn't Sweet Potato casseroles topped with maple syrup or brown sugar and marshmallows common in the US?

Yup yup! Well when I make sweet potato casserole, I dont put in maple syrup but I know others do. But yes on the brown sugar and marshmallows.

Shaun, I make a marshmellow and cream cheese dip for fruit trays all the time. Mix the 2 together add 1-2 Tbsps. of fresh squeezed orange juice and some zest. I think the orange would go well with the sweet potatoes! Gina

Well I decided to try this out before dinner...

I mixed a tiny bit of milk into the fluff, added some ground cinnamon, nuked it for a few seconds stirred and ended up with a very yummy dip.
