I don't mind too much when it's late starting- I turn on 60 Minutes and then wait to see what time it actually starts, then I know how long it will overrun.

The show was OK, but why did Dave take the easy part of the hay task and leave his wife to do the hard part? I'd say gravity would make the unloading a lot easier than the stacking part. I'm glad they beat the guys, since they started first and decided to try it first.

When he was in the backseat and said they were going the opposite way that they should be going and then he snapped at her question of which way she should have turned, saying "let me be the navigator", I cracked up. He makes no sense sometimes.

The underwater task looked super easy.

I was laughing my butt off at the preview for the next show, where Rachel and Vanessa were getting into it.

Vanessa says something like "yeah, I AM 38, and I still manage to look younger than YOU!" (Which she does, IMO.) Then she says something like "take my advice, get your nose fixed first, THEN your boobs." lol, I'm sorry, but it just hit me funny, they must have been really going at it beforehand for all that to come out. I'm sure we'll see lots of Rachel tears, or at least attempts at tears, as a result.

Didn't stick around for the previews, so I missed that. Vanessa is 38? She does look younger than Rachel, but she is still nasty. I know that she is attractive, even beautiful, but her personality takes away from her looks for me.

I thought that water challenge looked super scary. When they did it I held my breath, and I was ok with that but the turning upside down would have really disoriented me. And trying to bust out that window in the water? I think that would be harder than it looks.

Not sorry to see the Jersey boys go. Still rooting for Kentucky. I just like them.

Even though I learned to swim at four years old, that upside down thing would have freaked me out. But there were guys in the water and if you didn't break thru in a few seconds , they would have hauled you out. Vanessa is a POS with her mouth. Her and her BF have been married about five times collectively, I think. I know he was married three times and she one or two. I predict this marriage will last two months. I absolutely love this show and miss it when it's not on. This is my armchair way of seeing the world , and I must say, never heard of where they were last night beside the Caspian sea.

I feel so sorry for the one Kentucky guy that gets so car sick wow that must be a horrible ordeal to have to go through every time they get in a car. I think they did a fantastic job this round seems like they just breezed through it.

And hello if that amazing race envelope had been a snake it would have bit that couple in that carpet store! I could not believe they did not see the things sitting out in the wide open LOL

they all did very well in that underwater simulator I was impressed that no one went freak out on them.

I have all the network tiers for the main networks so I get to have the East Coast as well as the West Coast feeds and I have now started to record Amazing race at the later time slot and that one is never off schedule. I just watch it a little later but worth it not to have to deal with the over runs and recording all the other shows after it to make sure you got it all.

I watch Amazing Race on a Canadian channel so it never starts late, thank goodness! I used to watch it on the American channel and it would often be late.

I didn't really like the Kentucky guys when the show started but I like them more now. I think my favourite team is the 2 border guards. I like the pilot but not his wife that much. The 2 federal agents are ok and I can't stand the Big Brother team or Vanessa.

We have a helicopoter crash simulator like that one here (we have off shore oil rigs so anyone going to the rigs has to do that training). I've seen it on tv many times. I'd suck at it because I can't swim! LOL

Maybe the Kentucky car sick guy would do better in the front seat. But I guess that's where the camera guy sits. My SIL gets car sick in the back, always wants to ride up front.

Back seat carsickness is quite common, from what I understand. It's got something to do with not being able to see the horizon. But I feel so sorry for the Kentucky guy every time he has to be in the back seat.

Hubs and I are rooting for the Kentucky team. They're having a great time (other than the carsickness), they're getting along great, they're not cheating or being conniving or mean to anyone else. And they could really use the money!
