How can I fix this tape leakage?

I usually don't use tape, because I can do as well with an angled brush. But I am trying to paint stripes, so I used tape. I was given some FrogTape, which is supposed to be so super duper. I taped the whole area (just a water closet), but I only painted about 2' wide, floor to ceiling, to see how it would work.

It leaked. Not as bad as usual, but a number of spots of tiny leaks, maybe the thickness of a pin or pencil lead. I'm not sure what is the best approach to repairing these. Let it cure, then retape and repaint the base color? I'm pretty sure I can't touch it up by hand and have it look crisp.

And for the rest of the room, how should I plaster the tape down so it doesn't leak?
