Craigslist hoax ad costs man his belongings in Oregon ...

Someone would really have to hate you to try something like this. It just makes my blood boil to read stuff like this.

Somebody, not the homeowner, posted an ad on Craigslist saying to come to a certain house and take what you'd like. The homeowner wasn't home but as he got close to home, saw someone driving away loaded up with HIS belongings. The man taking the stuff said it was offered free and he was taking it, period. As he got closer and closer, more and more of his things were driven past him. The woman who came to rescue the so-called abandoned horse thought something was fishy and left the homeowner a note. Homeowner found about 30 people rummaging thru his barn and porch and they didn't believe him when he told them the ad was false. Finally the police got there and license plate numbers were turned in.

Can you believe this? I really, really hope they catch up to whomever placed the ads and prosecute him/her for every charge they can think of. AND make complete restitution, this is so outrageous. Can you imagine?
