I thought they were all quite good last night. I'm not sure who will be in the bottom 3, although I think Thia might be. She sings good, but there's nothing special about her IMO. She did say she messed up the lyrics. Pia is good too, but she really bores me with all the ballads. I think Stefano wasn't as good as he usually is.. so I hope that didn't hurt him.

I'm still rooting for quirky Paul.

Yes I too caught the 2 lyrics slip ups, they just can not do that at this stage of the competition it will kill them.

Still in love with Casey, think Jacob was awesome and James did very well too, I do like Paul he has such a unique voice and style but am afraid many do not get him, to me he is another along the lines of Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan,
I was bored with Tia, Pia, and Naima, who apparently got confused and thought she was on the dancing show. I am so ready for her to be gone.
Stephano was great last week but dropped it this week.
Was glad to see Scottie stick to his country roots and put a spin on his song.
Haley is good but is getting eaten up by the competition if she does not step it up she will be gone, her lyrics slip up may have been the last straw for her unfortunately, I wish she would get her confidence back and really go for it I love her raspy growly blusey voice when she goes there.

and I thought that stupid Chef who is always so mean on his own show had to come to AI and be insulting to Stephanos mother who was kind enough to go and cook for the whole gang, that was so uncalled for shame on you Chef Ramsey.

I wonder if they would tell Celine or Streisand they sing too many ballads?
I just didn't care for the song Pia sang, but just like Scotty should stick to country, I think Pia shouldn't be pushed into anything she isn't comfortable with.
Why do they say to some, stay with what you know, and what you are, and to others, they say to change things up?
James was my favorite last night.

My three favorites so far are Stefano, Pia and Scotty. I do like Hailey but I think she will be in the bottom three again...with Thia and Naima...I did not like Naima's dancing she looked like she was dancing for rain...IMO...I had to fast forward...it was awful.....I must say they are excellent singers all of them. I love Stephen Tyler....he is a great judge....so encouraging ...so is J.Lo...Great Show!

I think one of the problems with Pia is, she has an "agenda," something she wants to accomplish, advancing her nationality. That complicates things for her.

I can't understand why they want artists that have a specialty, like say Country, and then require them to fit into all the other kinds of music. Then when they do it, the judges critize them for being out of their realm.

I did NOT like the girl with the dance, hope she goes home.
I really enjoyed (is Haley her name) the one who wore the black and white gown. I thought she did great last night.

My goose bumps come from Paul's toothy smile, and Scotty's deep deep voice.

My favorite season yet. I'm a musician, and I look for certain things when i'm picking a favorite -

I have to admit that while I'm amazed by Jacob, sometimes I wish he'd tone down the vibrato in some notes. But come on, that's a far cry from prior years of "Pitchy dog" performances and "can we start over" stuff. This is a really great season.

Pia is Italian. Last I knew they didn't need need their nationality advanced. They do quite well. LOL
You may have been thinking if the Latino who got eliminated in week 2.

I'm pulling for Scotty, Lauren and Jacob in that order. James is good too. I'm not a fan of that type music but I'm fascinated by him. Paul is a bit squeeky for me and he's all over the place on stage but not in a good way.

I don't like Haley or Casey.

Well I thought the elimination show was incredible - Hulk Hogan? Wasn't expecting that, and watching Steven Tyler get all emotional and huggy on J-lo when Wonder came out -too cute. I was glad they had a cameo with J-Lo's husband, because they've glossed over him in the audience with hardly a nod. And whether Casey is your fav or not, you had to be excited for the poor kid.
