Our puppy's new name is........ (Plus pics)

Lassen! We really liked looking at all the potential names, but in the end, they just didn't fit him. :) Lassen is the mountain to the east of our town and we also have property that we'll be building on in the next couple of years. Thank you everyone for taking the time to make suggestions- KT'ers are the BEST!

So my BIL finally came to pick up his Lab and now we're finally down to Britain and Lassen- what a relief! BIL's lab was like a bull in a china shop, LOL! As it is, Lassen follows Brit' around, sleeps with him (under our bed), eats with him and plays with him. We've had only a few accidents in the house so far and I am thrilled with his intelligence. : D We've kept them very busy and DH loves to cuddle his puppy at night while unwinding. So far, so good!

I think your pup loves the camera. Look at the side stare from Brit...how cute! Luv her freckles! :)

What a sweet face...those eyes are so expressive. My daughter had a Siberian Husky and he was the smartest dog! I love that name too. Congratulations Haley!

Dante is adorable (and so is Max). We had our yard opened up for the pond tour today, and someone brought a young Boston Terrior along for the ride. It was a surprise, because I wasn't expecting anyone to bring their pets with them, but this little guy was totally excited about seeing the fish. You could tell he was their "baby". I always love seeing pictures of your pond and your beautiful longfins.

I am SO counting the days til we bring her home...The breeder is going to send me pictures weekly so I can see...I can also go over there any time I want just to "hang" with her. I'm having empty nest syndrome SO bad...After we had to put our Boxer down a month ago, we were going to wait to get another dog, but I told him I can't STAND this quiet...After having 4 kids and now they are all gone, and then the dog, it's been really hard for me. Congratulations! Bailey Rose is completely adorable and your story made me tear up a bit -- we have a cat we adopted as an adult and he has an eating disorder now from his time on the street--he will eat and eat and eat until you take it away from him, and it's been *6* years since we took him in. Poor dear : ( I'm a sucker for dog and cat yawns, for some reason : ) And WOW, I didn't know what a catahoula was, so I googled it and yes, I agree with Linda - catahoula sure does look like a serious possibility for some of that mix. Very cool, or should I say very catahoul : )

So so cute! Brit is a look alike to our first dog "Bandit" we had for 16 years. A great dog. I miss him. They are going to be great buddies.
