Tips? - Protecting wood floors while painting baseboards

I've been at this site a lot because I'm painting EVERY surface in my home in preparation for selling. I thank everyone for their fantastic tips. What I have done so far looks excellent for a 40 year old house.

In some of the rooms, we have dark stained doors and woodwork and on the recommendation of our realtor and others on the Buying and Selling Forum, I am painting all the stained areas white. Looks great so far-really brightens up the place.

In a few rooms, we have wood floors with baseboard/quarter round which needs to be painted white. I want to make sure not to get any primer or paint on the wood floors so there is a very crisp break between the painted trim and the wood floor.

Any tips on how best to do this? I'm thinking maybe I should tape the wood floor, then paint a thin line clear poly acrylic along the tape line to prevent seepage, but don't really know.

Thanks.
