My son and daughter (3 and 7) have both been quite constipated for over a month. The Dr. had recommended the use of disposable enemas. I hated enemas when I was growing up and swore I'd never do that to my children. I've seen those disposable units in the store, however, and they don't look too intimidating. Neither of my sisters nor any of my neighbors have ever used the things, so I'd like some input from someone who has. Are they effective? Are they hard to give? How to the children react to having that done to them? Any help truly appreciated.
