I can't believe this is Texas March. I'm freezing my booty off. We had snow flurries last night. LOL! I'm 200 miles or more south of you.

It is in the 30's and a 25 mph wind. My dogs just got their Summer Cut. So they have their sweaters on. LOL! Potty Outside only takes about 30 seconds and they are back in.

I have about 6 inches all over the ground up here north of Dallas and south of the River ;0) and as the wicked witch of the west said "It's m-e-l-t-i-n-g!" But it is purty right now.

And you just HAD to share it with us in Ohio, didn't you? lol If ours would MELT right away like yours, I wouldn't mind so much.

I saw Dallas area on one of the morning shows today. Thats alot of snow for you guys.
Its a whopping 5 degrees here in ND. We have lots and lots of snow on the ground yet. Below zero again the past couple nights and they say -15 to -20 tonight again.
I am so anxious for spring to get here and its just not cooperating! LOL It will start warming up in a month to 6 weeks, then those beautiful lilacs Jenni is talking about already will be blooming around Memorial Day! I can't WAIT!

We had about 2" this morning at our house in Central Texas....it is mostly melted now, but I was out at 6:30 taking pictures and it was really pretty!! The two little boys across the street were outside, so we were snowballing each other across the street!! Fortunately we live in a pretty quiet area :^) The big Lab that lives next door was having a ball...we threw snowballs at him too and he was trying to catch and eat them....then he would put his nose down and "snowplow" his back yard!

Yes it is snowing in Tyler, and it's also snowing about 10 miles north of Tyler where I live! LOL This is very unusual for us in this part of Texas.

Well thanks! Your storm is going to dump 40-50 cm in eastern ontario, canada this weekend...you think its 'purty'....I won't tell ya what I think! Worst winter since 1971 for me. But I have to admit it was so warm today (calm before the storm) I went out window shopping walking outside for almost 3 hours...could almost smell spring. Now we're warming up to the pitch - 10 cm tonight. So I can stretch it out tomorrow morning clearing that.
Must be weird when you're not used to it but it's old news in my neck of the woods. It's all I can talk about these days, my new hobby - snow shoveling. And I'm an avid gardener - dying here for spring....my seedlings are anticipating their garden bed....aaaaauuuuuugggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Will it ever end? They forecast snow into April of all things! Aaaaauuuuuuuuggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're expecting 30 - 50 cm from Fri into Sat. I am so tired of it! The street in front of our house is barely passable. I get stuck almost every day in it. I am tired of shovelling and scraping. I am tired of boots and scarves and winter coats. I am longing for the sun on my face, barefeet, skin that isn't dried up and getting my hands dirty in the garden.
Hopefully this will be winter's last push and Spring is just a couple of weeks away! In the mean time we sit inside and watch it come down and pile up!

It snowed here Vannie, about 60 miles south of Tyler, beautiful and serene, but didn't last long after the sun came out. We don't get to wake up to snow falling softly very often, the children loved it I heard.
