Mish-mash, because every photo will be oriented differently and some of the pre-clipped stuff won't work if it's not oriented right. Even if you skew it and mess with it, sometimes it's just easier to "buy new". : )

I have a photoShop question too! How do you get paint colors like BM, SW, etc. etc. for your photo's. I have Adobe PhotoShop Elements 5.0. And, what is the best way to learn this. I am photoshop challenged!

I'd like to know that too... how do you use a color on the wall and have it be the actual right paint color? And how do you change the wall color to that and also maintain the shadows/lighting on the wall?

I use Paint Shop Pro but rarely use it for virtual wall paint. I have gone so far as to scan a real paint swatch and "clone" the scanned swatch color onto a wall, it's so far off it isn't funny.

When I do use PSP for wall color, it's all eyeballed ;)
Oceana, the lower the opacity is, the more that will show through on the wall (shadows, etc.). So you have to fiddle withe the opacity setting in your software.

I just use the paint manufacturer's software, but even that is not accurate to real life because of computer hardware differences.

I use paint viewers (BM is the easiest to save and work with, I think), and I try to match the paint to the chips - I have an SW and BM book. I can use photoshop to layer on more color or mess with the levels to make it a little more accurate, but generally what I see won't be what someone else sees, so there's almost no point in matching the colors, really.
