Anyone interested in an exchange game?

I was thinking about an exchange game. My thoughts are it would go like this:

I will post a dvd or a book I have to give away. I will send it to the first person that speaks up for one or the other.

Once that person receives the item, they will post a dvd or book they have to give away. The first person to speak up receives it...and on it goes.

Anyone interested?

I think that was me... However, I simply am short on time to create a round robin sort of thing.. I am clueless to them I would like to participate in one or two before actually attempting one!! Although everyone's thoughtfulness and response to my post was wonderful. I would love to participate in a salvia exchange. Loves2cook, I've made a couple of jars of pear taffy myself. (grin) It happens. The stuff that doesn't set up I also use as sauce, as syrup on pancakes or Ashley just dunks her toast into a puddle of it on her plate, she says she gets jam on every bite that way. The sweet relish recipe? I'm happy to share. I spent over a decade trying to recreate Grandma's relish after she passed away. I never got it right. One day when I was visiting my Aunt Lulabelle, she was canning relish. I tasted and it was amazingly like Grandma's. She's my Dad's sister and my Grandma was my maternal Grandmother. Didn't stop her from giving Aunt Lulabelle that recipe at least 20 years before, LOL, and so it came back to me, via my Dad's side of the family. CUCUMBER RELISH (GRANDMAÂS RECIPE) 4 cups ground cucumbers 4 large onions, ground up 4 green peppers, ground up 1 or 2 red peppers, ground up 1 tbls. Salt 4 tsp celery seed 2 tsp. Turmeric Â½ tsp. Pepper 4 cups vinegar 4 cups sugar Combine veggies and salt and let stand for 2 hours. Drain well, add rest of ingredients and cook slowly for 1 hour. Pack hot into hot jars and process in boiling water bath 15 minutes for pints. Makes 6 Â 8 pints I don't have any "secret" recipes, I'm always happy to share. If any were to make me famous, it would have been Annie's Salsa, but that's already everywhere, too late to keep it secret. (grin) Annie

Ok, I'll start it off then. Who would like a new, unopened copy of Wall*E on DVD or a hardback copy of "After" by Amy Efaw, read once.
First to speak for one or the other will receive the item - when that person receives it, they will post a dvd or book to give away. Whoever speaks first for either of those will get the item, when they receive it they will post their item...etc.
You don't need to tell me that you are in, it will be obvious by who speaks for the item.
Hopefully at some point there will be something posted to give that interests every person that wants to play.

My only question is does it have to be new or is it more like an exchange of sorts? Something where I saw a movie or read and book I liked and now want to pass it on? I think the idea is good though.

Scissors, it can be either. The Dvd I have to give away I was given but have no interest in so I haven't opened it. The book I bought new and have read once.
If anyone else is interested in playing you don't need to tell me so, you can just speak up for the items as they are posted.

This will be going very slow if we only list 1 or 2 items. Why not have a "exchange" thread and other people list what they have to offer and just go from there. Any other ideas on this?

okay, in the interest of keeping this fun and moving...I have "claimed" Sjarz gift.

I now have a copy of The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren
(and possibly a blank journal to go with - I need to check)
or a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul.
