Yup, I checked the 2010 Naked Fireman Calendar that you recommended and sure enough it says today is your birthday.

Hey, I have an idea, make a turkey and some side dishes like green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and be thankful. Oh wait, you are probably going to do that tomorrow!

OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Thank you all for your birthday wishes, they were the highlight of my birthday!!! I did get the Fresh Saver Plus ( see other post ). As for presents... I received one on Sunday... A very special present from hubby... Something that I never thought possible, something I'll probably never see again. When hubby woke up Sunday morning he walked down stairs just a little smoother and just a little quicker, using both feet ( which hasn't happened in more than five years, since he broke his hip and had the strokes )... When he went into the bathroom to relieve himself he didn't spill a drop, not on the seat, not down the front of himself or on the floor... It didn't end there... He actually washed his hands and face, without any prompting... Then he shaved and combed his hair, all by himself... Even though it only lasted a few minutes it was still a very wonderful present... Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

Actually I was born on a Wednesday... And yes, I am a true Wednesdays child.

Well I had my B-day cake on Monday, chocolate with ice cream, so I'd have enough room for a basic Thanksgiving spread... lol

No green bean casserole for me, hubby won't go near mushrooms and I'm making 3 other things he wont eat... Gotta have my stuffing, cranberries and candy yams! LOL

If birthday wishes were money, you've just made me a millionaire... Thank you!!!
