This may be my answer to dark spots (aka, age spots) on the backs of my hands. I've tried so many creams over the years I could have bought a couple of laser machines with the $$ I spent. I've heard of Hand Spa but cannot find a salon that has one. I think that may be laser, but I'm not sure.

I had laser done years ago by a dermatologist who specialized in cosmetic procedures. My issue was crow's feet under my eyes which began developing in my 20's. She also did the eyelids for a little lift. It was one of the best things I've ever done for myself! I can't address bags/circles but hope you'll report what your derm says about it, as well as the results should you move forward with the procedure. I would have no qualms about having a derm do the procedure assuming they are board certified, have a lot of experience with the procedure, etc. I knew within just a few minutes of talking with her that she was the one I wanted to do it (the testimonials around her office from local and national celebs didn't hurt either:). She didn't push, just provided me with info and before/after photos of patients she had done the procedure on. She was wonderful!

You can do better than a laminate countertop and still stay in budget. Check out Craigslist and Habitat Re-Store. Check Craigslist once a day and when you see quality at a good price, pounce. We got a pure white stone (supposed granite but never saw pure white granite before) countertop, 61", double sink, sinks included, for $175. Just be patient. It took me about two months. You also can look for a longer Corian counter and cut it down to fit since your sink is offset. Even HD or Lowes will get you a cultured marble or solid surface countertop for a decent price. You might consider a big pedestal or console sink if you can do without the under sink storage, HD has a huge pedestal sink for about $124. That's if the flooring continues under your current vanity. It would expand the space so much, get rid of the blocky feeling and narrow entrance. Do wall storage instead, shelves or cabinets between studs. Some people here have done fantastic jobs painting faux granite countertops. A curved shower rod, chrome, no telescope line, white paint on all wood. I just painted our kids' bath a robin's egg blue - close to Palladian blue - it's so much better now! I can't believe I lived with the dreary white so long! Just wanted to share with you some of the experiences I've had with skin care. This I really long for me since I rarely chime in. I had Fraxel around my eyes 5 yrs ago. At that time there were 3 different Fraxel lasers available. The Board Certified Cosmetic Surgeon I used (and still do for skin treatments) used the strongest which only requires one treatment. Since then I know she's gone back to CO2 because the results are better. I also have friends who had complete whole face CO2 laser. After a few years, their skin still looks great and healthy. All in their 60's. i looked at the site listed and noticed she still had brown spots. This usually can be improved by IPL treatments which is laser type, no down time, and a little uncomfortable during the treatment. Same friends and I have had these treatments. You actually see the brown spots lift off and disappear and it's used to on the small spider veins that sometimes appear at your nostrils It's also good for brown spots on hands. I rarely wear foundation now since having these treatments. My skin has improved tremendously. I'm 64. Just want to share with you some other products which you can get on-line that have worked for me and were also recommended to me by the same board certified cosmetic surgeon. Jan Marini bioglycolic wash used daily at night. I use the one for oily skin which is strongest and my skin can tolerate it. I'm olive toned. This is strong at first because it exfoliates. Jan Marini Bioglycolic Creme used 3x a week at night. I mix a little retina A with it. When I do use foundation, it's by Colorescience. It's made to lay on the surface of your skin, does not penetrate into your pores, and has great coverage without looking caked on. Very natural. I turned a few friends onto it and they love it. Unfortunately they changed their line around and no longer offer the creme foundation. TG I recently found the primer and foundation on eBay and Amazon. Need to call them to see what they are recommended in their updated line. I used to use Chanel luminere for years. Same Dr. Recommended Neutrogena Moisturizer for daily use. I still have some fine lines but that's age appropriate. My skin is shiny healthy.
