They's still there at 5:43 on the west coast! ...and Wildebeasts on Nkorho too!

....and then a bunch of wildebeest.

I just logged on to the Africam-Tembe and the lions are still there, about 11:00 CT a.m. They usually hang out at a waterhole in the daylight when they've had a kill and they are semi-guarding the carcass from hyenas, wild dogs, and vultures. I did a quickie search to see if there had been a lion kill last night, does anyone know? There hasn't been since I last watched at about 10 or so (my time) last night. They typically hunt at night, but there have been sooooo many large herds of 'dinner' type animals lately. They don't go after birds....all bones and feathers. Who wants to expend that kind of energy for a mouthful of feathers? Patooey! ;-) If they haven't had a kill YET....all critters better stay the heck away from Tembe waterhole tonight, that's all I have to say.

One thing I definitely don't want to see is a kill of any kind. I've seen zebras, elephants, rhinos, antelopes, there. Here's the link Marie. It's dark now, you can just see a bit of reflection of the water Here is a link that might be useful: Afri-Cam
