This is my first year using them and as my trees are quite small I use one per tree but the directions say to use more if it is a large tree .Most of the local Greenhouses carry them. I know for sure :Greenland and Salisbury have them. I certainly hope they work as they are not cheap . I just wish more people would pick up their rotten apples in the fall or just get red of the trees if they don't want to do anything with them.

I remember buying tiny tomato seedlings at Wolfe Nursery in Texas. The pots couldn't have been any bigger than 2" x 2" and the transplants were miniscule. The plants were maybe 10 cents each. Drive-in theaters Putt-Putt Golf Riding the bus to downtown Fort Worth to go shopping and then eating at the counter in the Woolworth store. Cold soda pops in glass bottles with metal bottle caps...and they cost a nickle or a dime And, even though I was pretty young at the time...around 1965 or 1966, I remember going to Saturday afternoon movie matinee's with a group of neighborhood kids and then getting sodas or malts at the drugstore next door which still had a counter with stools, a few booths and a soda fountain. Ice cream trucks The neighborhood snowcone stand Playing Duck, Duck, Goose, Hide-N-Seek, and Tag Sitting on the front porch shelling peas...at home, at my aunt's house, at my grandmother's house.....or anywhere else we went Watching my aunt make her own brown sugar in a cast iron skillet Walking to and from school every day...kids everywhere....with no adults in sight except for the school crossing guards Life seemed so much simpler then. Seeing all these freeze damage pictures sends my mind back to our Hurricane Wilma aftermath. My trees, most of which were 8-15 years old at that time......80% blown over, some uprooted entirely. I have video of my yard and I can't even bear to look at it. I had to hat rack all the canopies and pull the tree into the best up-right postions that I could with the car, propping them up with the heavy branches that we cut as braces. Worked non-stop for the better part of three weeks (while we had no power) cutting and hauling what seemed like mountians of debris and cut branches to the roadway for pickup. I shudder to think about ever having to do it again. The good thing about tropical fruit trees, however, is that they are resilient. I think I had Post Traunmatic Stress disorder after that storm 5 years ago. Anyway, the good news is no one froze to death and trees can be replaced if necessary in the worst case. But it is still very saddening.

Have you invited anyone who will dance, even if they are the only one? The hardest part is getting the first few people on the dance floor. After that, people usually feel more comfortable about dancing -- since they weren't the first or the only folks on the dance floor. Also, I've noticed that people are more ok about dancing if the lights aren't too bright (for several reasons!). Having some special lighting (disco ball, colored lights, or fog machine -- all can be rented) will also make the dance floor more appealing. But, most of all is having some boys and girls that WILL dance, that WILL draw out others to dance with them. Not just the one couple who will dance but only with each other.
