Now it's been exactly 2 month and today I'm moving my plants indoors again. On the first picture here in the plants haven't been watered for a month (the bigger pots for more than a month) so they already rested a bit before ... I guess it should be enough now. I'm anxious to see which of them will bloom for me again and how many leaves they will produce this time. First I'll leave them on the heated windowsill, once the first leaf has emerged they'll be watered slightly from below. When the flowering bud has emerged fully from the bulb they'll again get a good gulp. All right, I'm off to the friends cellar, another friend of mine helps me with his car. They all think I'm crazy but that's nothing new ;)

Well, after the bump, I started reading slowly and enjoying meeting everyone, and seeing again so many of the old regulars , and then I realized this was a very old thread! I scanned it to find my introduction and saw that I never introduced myself, so here it goes: Hi! I'm Maria, I live on the island of Chios (Greece), in my hometown were my parents and sister still live. We returned here with DH and 2 DDs after 20 years in Athens. BIG change in way (and quality!) of life. I'm a librarian, and a singer/pianist, very active at church in music and children's ministry and translating. I craft (recycling materials - I only buy glue and hotglue sticks!), and garden, and cook, and I LOVE organizing. On the other hand I don't like cleaning very much. I could definately be an organizer for other people but here it would be VERY strange for people to hire someone to come and see, and assess, and offer solutions for their mess... I am on this forum since 2000, but the last few years I only lurk, very faithfully though, and I agree with everyone that has said that people here are very genuine and friendly and always offering good suggestions and ideas and food for thought in general. This is my favorite place on the web!

I suggest the same as ruthieg said. And if you like, mail another request when the new president is "in residence," that way their 50th will be well covered. (AND future generations can marvel at the importance of their ancestors who got cards from two Presidents!) :) Suzi

I make all of the Christmas cards we send. Birthday, sympathy and other holiday cards, not so much anymore. Birthdays always seem to sneak up on me so they go out late. Even though I have a number of stamp sets for sympathy cards, I just haven't quite gotten the knack for them. I need to work on that, and get some made ahead. I usually keep cards for several years before tossing them. I know when I start cleaning out the house I am going to find many from our KT card exchanges!
