Debra- Cherry Sunblaze is three shrubs planted really close together. The little white roses in the pondside roses picture are actully two shrubs side by side. In the rose planter corner, the red in front Be Bop, is one plant but the pinkish white directly in back, Charles Aznavour, are two shrubs. Florabundaville has lots of yellow in front. Four plants of Sunsprite, one of Sunblaze and one of Julia Child. All planted in a row about 18 inches apart. Then there is a pink at the very begining of the row. Above that row are many more roses going up the slope which is not terraced except for the front row. They are all one of each of whatever. Have lots in there. The exception is Home Run, red single rose, visable in the looking up at my house picture. It is two side by side. The curved terrace and the mid yard have only one rose of whatever type but there are many roses and they are close together. In fact they are two roses deep (staggered) in the curved terrace and three deep in the mid part of the mid yard bed. Sort of football shaped.

Hanna - your clematises are gorgeous! I am so partial to Niobe and that color. :-D Alexa that's a neat combination. The flowers look so big next to the roses. My "Prince Charles" is way behind this year. It is only about 1/2 the size that it was last year at this time. It still has a ways to go before I see some blooms. This has just been an odd spring.

My SM #3 is this way PO1. She has a good heart but it annoys me to no end. She publically takes all the credit for us skids and our achievements but married my dad after I was an adult and all but 2 of our children were already born. She has just met my brother and his wife and their kids this past year for the very first time... She's been married to my dad for almost 10 yrs and has never met my brothers fam or even talked on the phone. Mostly because my brother was estranged from our father.... Anyway-- on Facebook she writes to my niece and brother and SIL, I am so proud of you, I love you and miss you!! And then she has some crap about 'interests' watching my children and grandchildren grow. I hope to have great grandchildren one day. She has one adult son that is estranged from her bc he is a jerk and he has no children. So the grandchildren would be our children. I personally haven't seen her in quite a while none of us have but she acts like she saw us yesterday. She was signing her cards to us 'momma(insert name)' and we are all adults. My sister finally said, please stop. We don't mind the kids picking a nickname for you like Nana or grams but we aren't calling you Momma. We have a momma and we don't know you that well. People always write on her fb 'hope your kids and granbabies are well. And I just wonder if they are confused.

I am seeing the old layout now. Very glad! I really didn't like the new layout because: (a) a bunch of different forums were all on the same page - Kitchens, Appliances, Design Dilemmas, and a few others. Too hard and too lengthy to find the threads I was interested in; (b) every time I opened a thread, a new tab opened, which meant a cluttered screen for me; I'd much rather just hit the back arrow from a thread to return to the forum; and (c) the dumb and huge banner across the top that said "Hi Friedajune, what are you working on?" So annoying.
