Where cheating on primer really shows up, is if someday you decided to hang wallpaper. The drying of the wallpaper paste will literally pull the paint off the drywall. I have run across this "self priming" paint when hanging wallpaper. I would put a pre-paper sealer on the walls first, and then hang the paper. All done quite "kosher" and according to accepted practices. A couple days later the customer would call and complain that the seams were lifting. Sure enough, the seams are coming up and the paint is stuck to the back of the wallpaper,. leaving bare drywall paper showing on the wall! Obviously, the paint was not bonded to the wall! I know of no way to correct this problem, other to remove the wallpaper and advise the customer not to hang more wallpaper. So long as only paint is used, the bonding situation does not seem to be aggravated.

I personally wouldn't buy it from a tv infomercial. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad product. Look up reviews for it. I believe there are cheaper options. I use a .5mm on my face, neck, and chest. I've seen visible improvement rather quickly. I was most surprised at my chest. I've read and seen videos of people using larger needles (and numbing lotions!), but certain areas of the skin shouldn't go over .5mm (eyes). When I have more time later I'll look for that article. I buy mine off amazon and they're inexpensive (under $20). You need to replace when the needles dull and you can feel it starting to tug at your skin. You'll be able to tell. Read reviews. How often one rolls I think somewhat depends on your skin. I'm really not one for pain and I'd describe it more uncomfortable and annoying than anything. Your skin will be sunburn looking red when you're done. I do it at night before bed and in the morning my face is good to go.

It is a lesser known brand in most places, but the "California Paints" brand is great! My favorite is their Ultra Line. I prefer eggshell. Walls wipe off easy when necessary, & touch ups do not show. Personally, I think SW is trying to stay competitive with the big box stores. Only way to do that is to put less "solids" in the paint to be able to sell it cheaper. Why not have your painters bid just the labor - prep, primer and 2 coats of paint - then compare?
