If you have them lighten it then it could change the color a bit, but than again, it might be by the bit you need. I couldn't believe it when I read about the CI and Cornsilk. Those are the 2 very colors I just receommended to my neighbor for her kitchen and living area. She likes yellow and wanted something that made a statement. Those 2 definitely compliment each other. Have you looked at Golden Straw and Barley? I don't have my sample of Concord Ivory anymore so I can't put them next to it to see the relationship. I know they are also pretty yellow/golds.

Barley and concord ivory are very close on my swatches. I'm thinking not quite enough difference for what we are aiming at though. I just had an idea to perhaps try the barley at 50% too. I can see in the samples that the cornsilk definitely has more of a yellow compared to more golden/mustard as the others mentioned. I just love the concord ivory. I took pictures tonight and won't even post them as the color looks so "off" in the pictures. I'm not sure if it is the flash or what? The walls looked bright yellow, not at all like in real life. Any other ideas? Thanks!

I have a zillion BM large paint chips. I'll look through them and any that are gold and not too gold or too yellow, I'll post. Here goes:

I know the Rich Cream comes in a sample pot, but can't say for the others.

My neighbor, the one I recommended the other colors to, was also looking for a paint for her hallway and she found this Rich Cream on her own. When I saw it in her hall and saw how pretty it was, even in that low light condition, I thought i'd give it a try and am glad I did. It is a beautiful, soft color. Good luck.

Let's see, I sampled 6 more colors today at the new home. Can't remember them all, but did try rich cream, philadelphia cream, barley, bronzed beige, and concord ivory at 75% strength. I forgot the other one?! So we are trying something to look great with concord ivory. This is where we are... rich cream is a very nice color---very tempting, but we wanted something more bold & to contrast more with our painted (acadia) trim. Philadelphia cream was one of my favorites, definitely less yellow and gold in this one, more of the beige family. We nixed it feeling we wanted to carry the golds. Barley looks very good with the concord ivory. It is very similar in terms of belonging to the same color family. It is a very nice warm, yellow/gold. Bronzed beige was very nice too. I thought it was too close to concord ivory and I do want the two colors to be noticed as different. The concord ivory at 25% was a very nice shade, just a little brighter yellow than the barley. We are trying to stear from too yellow, bright in hope to get more mustardy, yellow, warm golden. If that makes sense?! So as it stands I'm back to the paint store to try one more thing...barley at either 50% or 75%. I'm just curious as to how it will look lighter with more contrast. So it should definitely be barley for our winner, with a possibility of taking it to 50% or so. Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions. I will keep you posted on our progress:)
