Willow Tree Angels, I have over 25 of them.

Christmas tree ornaments. I buy one every new place I visit and I also buy a few each Christmas and my 3 sisters and I exchange Christmas ornaments every year. I have way too many for my 2 trees (solution.....get another tree!)

I really don't have what you would call a collection of anything but I do like the Jim Shore Christmas collectibles. I have the small nativity scene, a Santa ("Naughty or Nice") and a Golden Retriever. I also have quite a few what I call "snow people with character" - interesting or quirky ones.

Teapots here, but I've stopped, sort of! Too much clutter the way it is.

Money.

Don't laugh...I've collected coins and paper money since I was a child, from every country I visit.

The coins are in an over sized martini glass. The nieces and nephews used to love going through them, guessing the country, and the paper money is framed as a collage, which hangs in the family room.

Oh boy. Vintage Mother cups/mugs, rabbits, bears, old walking canes, old canning jars, old photos and postcards from my town, things from a particular college, Dionne Quint stuff....etc.

I'm trying not to add anything else to any of my collections. A friend has been giving me the Willow angels for Xmas the past 2 years.. so I guess she is starting another collection for me. :-)

Pet hair!!

Post cards, that peeps send me from all over the world. I have quite a box full now.

but none are cards, that I got just cause someone found out about it, and all it says: here's another for your collection.

I really save only the ones I get, cause someone was someplace and sent me one from there, with wishes, and what they saw etc. written on it.

Charming Tail mice, vintage gardening books, vintage sewing books. Jr. League cookbooks. Cobalt blue glass. Oh, I have a box of salt and pepper shakers that I started collecting in the 70's. Hummm haven't looked at those in years. I think it's time to eBay them.

I haven't added much to any of it for a long while...parted with some of my Biscuit Barrels on ebay and our own Imabest got a couple of them...I pickup a collie figure every now and then when I let myself go into a flea market/antique store...nobody has matchbooks anymore...i have a huge glass jar full of them...

In the garden: Hosta, Iris, rustic antique (and also non-antique) items for display in the garden (shovels from abandoned mines, very old wooden handled garden implements), wooden barrels, etc).

In the house: Hummingbird statues and related items, antique cups and saucers, mugs, antique pitcher (or decanter) and glasses sets.

My husband collects antique plates, saucers, dishes, vases, and so on, and porcelain dolls.

We both have the collection bug BAD!

Jewelry (costume,hehe), Depression Glass, plants,books, that's about it!

Folk art by Wilson & Wilson Folk Art Company, she's a local artist and I do her mailing list for her. Mostly I collect her figural items, but some framed originals and a few limited edition prints. She does the neatest stuff.

Dinnerware, I don't have as much as I would like, but I probably have enough dinnerware to seat 70 people if I had to and they didn't care if it matched. Some is good china, some everyday and some is melamine, that's the fun, picnic-y/beachy stuff.

Craft supplies. lol And sewing machines, I think I have 7. I use 3.

Eek- Way too much!

Shot glasses, cross stitch stuff, Boyd's Bears (only garden themed ones), dragons, and rocks. I had to leave a large part of my rock collection behind when we left California as they were just too heavy.

I used to collect bells, but stopped that several years ago when I decided to declutter my house. Now, unfortunately, the only thing I collect is pounds!!

Besides the dust and pet hair, I collect stuffed bears and I guess you could say I collect crafting supplies too.

Teapots, rooster paraphernalia, whiteware pitchers/creamers/jugs/gravy boats/serving dishes. And I can't forget that DH and I love dinnerware and have 9+ sets, but I'll blame that on him ;o)

Elvis plates, Peggy Karr plates, bluebird figures, cobalt blue glassware. I've quit collecting stuff myself. Sometimes my girls get me some bluebird figures.

I used to collect Christmas ornaments, mostly Hallmark but also ornaments from every place we vacationed. I started DD's collection the year she was born and bought another every year for her (dated). When she got older, she would buy me one. I liked the pretty ones, not the cutsie ones. When we were moving I had 3 big boxes of Christmas and sold all but my "good" ornaments (which included a ceramic Christmas tree DD made in 4th grade and construction paper ones the grandkids made). When we got ready to move, the box was missing. I had set it aside purposely with a "Do Not Sell" sign so DH wouldn't dump it. I probably had a small fortune in them since the replacement costs are way out of my range. I'm still just sick over this.

Now I don't collect anything 'cept memories!

Besides that, YARN lots of yarn, ornaments from our travels, old family pictures, I'll probably think of some more later!

Vintage Pyrex - I have an attic full and I use some of it and decorate with some of it.

Character Royal Doulton figurines when I can afford them.

Brooches - and I wear them. My signature brooch is my Grandma's Scottish amethyst and silver thistle brooch.
Old hardcover books - hand sized books.
I also have all my childhood dolls and books and bits and pieces plus all my current event scrapbooks starting with the Apollo space missions. I also have every greeting card and letter given to me.

I do avidly look for pieces that I can afford to add to my Royal Albert Poinsettia pattern china.

Yesterday I decided I am going to start picking up some more cut crystal pieces for my living room because I do get a lot of sun and I love the prisms from the crystal and so does my cat Lucy. I have a few large pieces that I love.

I love to collect dainty and feminine things. I guess I am just a girly girl and like nice pretty things. LOL
