I'd eat every meal out if I could. Probably 20 times a month

If you are meaning fast food, a couple times or so a week, with one or more of our girls. If you mean go in and eat, never. Husband isn't one to go out and eat very much.

We average less than once a month. Probably more like 3 times per year.
That doesn't include vacations, of course. But to just "go out and eat" during our normal day-to-day routine? Nah...

That's an easy one for me..zero times a month.

This town is held together by bars and restaurants and I've never heard of most of them, or even know where they are.

I prefer eating at home, without makeup, getting dressed, driving, etc. :)

Considering Eric and my schedules- we probably eat out at least 20 times a week. There are days when I eat all three meals int he car. Horrible health wise but on those days I probably eat healthier than when I have time to actually stop somewhere.

Worst thing for my health and waist was fast food places starting to take credit cards. Never carried cash so I wouldn't be tempted- now I need to rethink my strategies! LOL

eating out for me is more just being around people than the food. I do like good food of course but If I did the cooking most of it would go in the fridge until time to be thrown out.

Less than once a month.

About 1 1/2 times a month on average. Never eat fast food on in the car. Now, if you include the visits to Dairy Queen, Brusters and Ritas, the average goes up considerably from April through October.

DH and I go out once a week (usually Wednesday) to The Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It is my "treat" for the week. I eat 1/2 my lunch and take the rest home to eat the following day! We never have the cheesecake.

We go out with friends and family once in a while - but some months we don't eat out at all.

I fix 2 solid meals a day here. Breakfast is usually cold cereal - but I do sometimes make scrambled eggs/toast, or hot oatmeal.

I fix a noon meal for DH & I, and supper for the family. With busy sports schedules - we don't always eat at the same time though.

Wwe go out to lunch about once a month, usually as a break in a Saturday shopping trip. There are NO good restaurants within 50 miles of us, and I like to cook, so we splurge on ingredients and eat at home(and we don't have to leave a tip!).

Probably 6 times a month. We almost always go out on a Friday or Saturday to eat and it is always a sit-down place (never fast food). We might eat out a couple other times during the week if we meet friends or my DD is home from college.

Hubby on the other hand....well he would eat out, especially fast food, 3-4 times a day if we could afford it! LOL But he will order a pizza every few weeks, I hate pizza so I don't eat it.

It would be easier to count the times I don't go out to eat.
Almost every day...but that is because I am alone most of the time and it is easier and I eat better to eat a meal out. When my husband is home, we have so much to do, we usually eat out then too. If I lived in a finished house, with a real kitchen, I would prefer to eat at home more. But, I can eat at a nearby Chinese restaurant that has excellent fresh vegetables cheaper than I can eat a hamburger...so I eat there almost every day.

I probably eat out about 8-10 times a month. I meet with friends once a week for breakfast and then have other friends call and want to do lunch. Jammer and I eat out if we are out of town riding or shopping. I have cooked for so many years and I am tired of cooking! So I love to ear out.

Probably 5 to 6 times a month. I used to eat out more when I rode with my motorcycle friends.

Maybe 6-8 times a month. Mom and I both belong to Red Hats, and our neighborhood single ladies group, so there's 2 times. Then when we go into Omaha to get our hair done, her Dr. appointments,or shop, we always set our appointments for around lunch time.

I eat lunch out about 5 times a month. Every Sunday a group of us meet for lunch after church. We eat at a grocery store that has a food court. Most of us get the salad bar but a lot of times I get just one slice of pizza. Then we sit there and visit for an hour or longer. It is lots of fun. About 20 usually show up.
Then once a month one of my Red Hat groups meets for lunch. We go to different restaurants. There are plenty of good places to eat in this college town. I never eat fast food.

fast food never. restaurants, both pick-up and sit down combined probably 10-15 times a month. more than that in spring & fall when i am swamped w/ work and start early and stay very late. we always eat out on Fri's evenings, lunch sat or sun and dinner sat or sunday every weekend. helps us catch up on dishes lol ~ liz

Hubby and I used to eat out at least 3 or 4 times a week, we have cut back to once or twice.

A big fat zero. We never ate out much, just birthdays and anniversary and now with DH's layoff we don't do even that. Most restaurants are a big disappointment and expensive so prefer to eat home.

Probably .5 times per month. Yup, maybe six times a year we eat a meal not prepared at home, by me. Now what I 'cook' isn't fancy, mostly meat/fish/chicken + a veg + salad + a roll at dinner. Soup, crackers, cheese for lunch, or a half sandwich w/soup. Cereal w/fruit or bacon and egg w/toast or small muffin for breakfast.

I have to be starving, with no other option in sight, to eat in or at a drive-through-type chain. I will bring home some prepared foods like a Gino's frozen deep-dish pizza or frozen sheppard's pie. I'll bake a frozen fruit pie (like Mrs. Smith's Deep Dish Apple). In other words, I'm not by any means a 'from scratch' cook. I'll 'doctor up' some frozen dinner-in-a-sack with extra meat and vegies. Just sayin' I'm no martyr just because we don't eat out much!

Have to smile because someone else said she likes to eat at home in casual attire. I'm a real robe and slipper gal for breakfasts -- and sometimes dinners.

I like peace and quiet at meal time. Restaurants are too noisy, with loud music and people trying to talk over it, and kids (bless their little hearts) crying or running around while their parents pay no attention to them.

No place like home, even if it is just a PB&J sandwich.

I eat at the cafeteria at work, 3x a week for lunch, and 3x a week I get a toasted bagel there for breakfast.

For dinner, we eat out maybe 2x a month.

I probably eat out maybe 2 times a month, (on the weekends) usually lunch. I bring my lunch at work, but maybe I'll buy something 2 or 3 times a month.

Used to eat out every day. Those days are long gone. Maybe twice a month now. And we usually share a dish.

If you count the times I go down to either our cafeteria at work or walk over to UK's, then 7-10. That includes picking up something for Alex to eat on my long weekends when he wasn't going to his father's and I hadn't cooked anything for him to just warm up in the microwave. Now that he's going over there I don't stop and get him anything. Bad thing is they come home hungry after 9 pm! Why they don't eat when they're there is beyond me. The kids and I go out every once in awhile for a sit down meal and occationally I go out with friends.

Most of my UK cafeteria meals are from the salad bar and so pretty cheap, probably cheaper than if I brought my own meal. Now they have suhsi and sashimi and it's getting more expensive.

Far too often, LOL. With my DS schedule and my hectic schedule, setting down to a meal rarely happens. If I am lucky enough to be home long enough to cook a meal I try to make something that makes quick & easy leftovers. I hate the fact that we don't get to set down to meals and the amount of $$$ wasted eating fast food, but, right now it works for us. Hopefully, things will get better and more organized soon.

Once a week, sometimes twice on the rare weekend, we go to a really nice place (with tablecloths and a wine list) for lunch. Never to places that are noisy, we like to be able to enjoy each other's company.

We never do the fast food thing -

We go out as a family about 2-4 times a month. There have been several birthdays and special occassions lately so it's been closer to the 4 times. Me going out to lunch is maybe a Subway 1-2 times a month. I try to stay away from fast food.

Waaay too much! LOL (But I'm like MaryAnn - I cooked for years when we had kids at home. I'm tired of cooking!)

On an average, probably 2 or 3 times a week. I'm like the others, after 50 years of cooking, I'd rather eat out!!

Due to budget and health restraints, we rarely go out to eat and when we do it is for lunch.
We don't go to fast food restaurants.
I hate paying good money for food I can make at home, knowing it will be more healthy and better tasting.

I used to cook at home most of the time with an occasional lunch out with a friend and breakfast out with some of the few family I get along with. Over the winter my out-eating has increased dramatically. I found a few mom & pop places with wonderful breakfasts and good prices. One of them is open for evening meals too and I occasionally go there. Plus I go to Old Country Buffet for breakfast occasionally and have started going for a dinner more often too. Get there before 3:30 pm and you get the lunch rates and that's $3 cheaper. And figuring that beverages and dessert are included it's a good value. Food varies. Certain days have more to my tastes. And it's clean and well maintained, unlike most buffets.

I generally eat only one "meal" per day. Might have a snack or something at home, but seldom have more than one full meal in a day and I don't remember the last time I ate breakfast, lunch and supper! When I'm going to have a long day at work I like to get a good old fashioned breakfast and that lasts me the day with the exception of a possible snack later.

We rarely eat out. I guess I'm fussy but I am very rarely impressed with restaurant meals. I prefer to stay home and spend a bit extra on a nice steak or roast and prepare it ourselves. We love having friends for dinner or even breakfast! We only go out to celebrate family birthdays etc. Just a few times a year, or if we're out of town on vacation we'll try a different type of restaurant.
