I love that hotel, at least as a must see and convention hotel. Do they still have the moving restaurant? Several of us went in there together and sat a different tables, when we turned to talk to the others at the next table they were gone! We were on the moving part and they were not! LOL!!!

The restaurant "Passion on the Beach" at the Amsterdam Hotel in Aruba. One must get there early (if you don't have a reservation). As the sun sets, you are on the west side of the island, you get a great view. When it is dark, it is difficult to see the menu unless they provide one with a back-lit LED light. It is prudent to remove you shoes.

jim_1 Zone 9A, we leave on 4/10. I will be glad to go, so hot here now. We are going to go to the Carolinas and go on part of the Blue Ridge Parkway, so will take a few more days to get home than usual. Might as well make it fun.

Oh, wow. Thanks for the picture. Went to "Opryland" Amusement Park
once and loved it. Didn't last for some reason.

Opryland is just awesome. We had lunch there and then headed down the street to "Shopry" land walk off the calories. One of the biggest malls I have ever been to.

This is a White Pelican I saw on my hike on Sunday at a local wildlife sanctuary near my home (where I took Casey_nfld when she was in town.) Man, these are large birds! They dwarf the Herons and Egrets that populate the ponds.
