Thanks to all of you for chiming in. Blond wood is definitely out because although it looks fine with the tile, I don't want anything that leans peach or orange. I may just have to use different colors in the two areas. That darned peach tile! Anyway, I love the everlasting and muslin which is the lighter shade on the same strip. If the muslin will work with the tile, that may be the way that I go. I'm at that point that I want to start lightening some areas in my home. Thanks again for your help!

I was having two adjoining rooms painted and wanted them the same color. The lighting conditions in the two rooms are very different, one being much brighter and sunnier than the other. I bought four large pieces of wallboard at the lumber yard, had them cut in half for a total of 8 large pieces. I painted each a differnt BM 'candidate'. I moved them around, day and night, and in different weather conditions outside, narrowing down my choices. I ended up with Stone House in the darker room and Everlasting in the brighter room. They look exactly the same and no one but me knows they are two different colors. I'm still thrilled with the results, several years on. Lighting is everything and also painting on the same surface as your walls. Different surfaces reflect paint color differently. Ps--no pink undertone in either.

You seem to have an affinity for the grays which happens to be very in style now. I don't have a SW book so don't know what Flora, jojoba and coastline are. they are not in my BM book. Why not use the kendall charcoal in the LR and the gray wisp in the halls. How dramatic with a soft white for woodwork would that be? Put the camo on the ceilings! It would be fabulous. Think white or off white leather, and then you can pick up just about any color for accents. Think lots of texture and how about using some metal and glass? How about red accents? Peach? all in very small doses of course. As for the DR, use the kendall charcoal. Then how about adding a pearl finish on top? That will lighten is slightly and give it a shimmer! As for the bookcases, either paint the same color, or how about finding a textural wallpaper in the same color? btw: how do you feel about the chair rail in the LR? Since the house is now yours, go get small samples of the colors you love and paint on the wall in several places in the LR/DR/Hall. Look at it in all different light. The answer will come to you that way. Trust your instincts once you do.
