I agree with the judges -- this was the best first episode of any season, ever -- bar none. It's soooo hard to decide who should be sent home first. They all did really well. Next week will be interesting!

I hadn't really been watching it much the last couple of seasons but I loved tonight!

I missed half of it because I got call in to work, but what I saw was amazing. That young kid, Roshon? Wow, like a pro. I'm rooting for Donald Driver of the Green Bay Packers!! I thought he did awesome, but I do agree it was a little too sexed up. Too much thrusting hip action. I didn't get all the praise to Jack Wagner, I thought he was just meh. It's always hard to see your youthful heartthrobs get old like the rest of us, lol. I used to have such a crush on him.

Great show and the best first episode to date. I lost interest in DWTS over the past couple of seasons, but this season has me very excited. This will be a tough season to judge.

I agree with you Sleeperblues, I think Jack Wagner (who was also my crush) was a little lackluster compared to the others. If they hadn't introduced the stars, I would not have known that was Martina. Weird to see her with all the make up.

Yes, I think Martina will be the first to go. She was very stiff and you could see her watching her partner to see what she was supposed to be doing.

That William guy is HOT!! I thought Jaleel White was the best of the night. Who'da thunk it?? I didn't get why the judges thought that blonde opera singer was so great. I mean she can dance but wasn't the best.

I was really proud of Gladys Knight. She is looking good and it was fun to watch her dance.

Like sleeper, I missed more than half. We had a storm system roll thru and knock out my satelite reception. That's ok. They'll show snippits of all the dances next week. I was really amazed at all the performances I did get to see. The absolute best first night ever.

Guess I'll have to watch!

Everyone was good, but....again, I feel sorry for Tony. He'll never get a chance to win if he doesn't get good partners, which he hasn't yet..

Did Tony have Martina or Melissa? It seems like certain dancers always get the more athletic stars, doesn't it?

Tony is partnered with Martina. I, too, feel sorry for him. He is such a nice guy and a great dancer, but he always seems to get paired with someone who is bound to get sent home early. You'd think that after he put up with being paired with Kate (of Kate Plus 8) that the producers would reward him with a decent partner for once!

I agree about Tony getting paired with the worst partners but he isn't my most favorite of the men dancers. I too think Martina will be the first to go. You know, Melissa Gilbert kind of bothered me too Monday night. She seems a bit "talky" about her personal life. Everyone else is great. It's going to be a fun season.
