Matthew, some people spend a lifetime searching for their passion. Others know what their passion is but, unfortunately, can never achieve the success that they crave with it. You are truly one of the unique people who not only know what it is that they love, but have the time, skill, knowledge, and all the other things at hand that it takes to fully immerse themselves in what they love. Then to take that and develop it into something of such great beauty is amazing. And you do it soley because you love it. Seeing your garden has been a great joy in my day and I want to thank you for sharing your photos of it. Here I was sitting, sort of feeling worn out, and up pop these pictures of all these plants! It sure put a smile on my face in an instant! I've seen thousands of roses in my life, and every time I see a rose I am still in awe of its beauty. The same for succulents. Being a newbie, it is more so as almost every photo is of a plant is a plant that is new to me. I'd sure like it if you'd share your photos some more. Maybe in smaller batches and tell the name of the plant to help us newbies out. I sure saw some of your plants that I'd like to own...especially since I am succeeding in killing off some of my plants and will need to go shopping for more!

There are (2) Wolf ranges - all gas or dual-fuel. The dual-fuel has a fairly distinctive appearance. The all gas is similar to Capital in some ways. If you like red knobs, you can buy different knobs for the Capital that is reddish on chrome. Or you could buy a Blue-Star and purchase red knobs to replace the black ones. If you get the Capital Culinarian manual clean, it will not have the rotisserie or glide-out racks. If by "backstory" you are referring to Capital Culinarian's performance - I don't believe anything except Blue-Star will come close. My first Culinarian customer loves the low-to-high and even performance of the burner. It's going to boil water at least 30% faster than Wolf, and that's not even factoring in how evenly the heat is distributed on the Culinarian. By the way, the Culinarian oven door is better insulated compared to the Wolf all-gas range, which one of my customers said can get hot to the touch when using the oven.

I love all the constituent parts, but the layout is definitely spendy. Less jigs and jogs to the exterior wall will save quite a bit. For a single person or a couple with the occasional visitor it’s a great little cottage. I do agree that you’re limiting your market with only two bedrooms, but that’s only an issue if resale is a concern. If you’re building it to live and love in for a decade or two I wouldn’t add an extra bedroom you don’t want or need. This would work for a bubble diagram, a beginning sketch of needs, but definitely let an architect refine it. And having lived in a 1600-ish square foot house I can say that to get decent sized common areas and screened in porches it is doable, but tight. 2000 would indeed be better. Those extra few feet to the living room or kitchen can make a huge difference in comfort while still being cozy.
