For over 20 years I have killed the roots of remaining stumps by painting the cut surface,IMMEDIATELY, with full strength 41% roundup. Not all trees will regrow from a stump, or roots in the ground, so I use Roundup selectively. If I am asleep at the switch and miss a tree, I can still kill it by spraying the new growth with brush killer, but it will take usually three years to kill. Al

Maybe that stuff called goo be gone, I have seen it at the drugstore I think. For future reference next time try un-do to take the whole label off. I work for a big box retailer and have probably delivered 1000 refrgerators. Probably an under estimate. That damn plastic is the worst part of the job! Whoever came up with it needs to be taken out and shot. It’s a manufacturing defect, Some manufacturers have plastic that peels off with no effort at all, and some you can spend a half hour peeling it off one inch at a time. If one manufacturer can do it right, then they can all do it right. Frigidaire and Whirlpool and GE, I’m talking to you! You can take a sharp razor blade and steadily run it down the inside edge. You never get it all off, but you can get close and make it a lot less noticeable. The problem with that is, of course, some people don’t want a razor on their new fridge. At that point, you give up and tell them to invest in a pair of tweezers. If you want to complain, complain to the manufacturer. Your delivery people didn’t put that crap on there. It’s your fridge, so deal with it! The cheaper the fridge, the harder it is to get off. Complain to the manufacturer! Complain to the manufacturer! Complain to the manufacturer!

Look up You Tube videos and Google this. Here is what I found. My curling iron melted a plastic IKEA tray. Have a big blob of plastic on Conair ceramic iron…. 1. Freeze it or put it in a bowl of ice. Leave 3+ hours, then scrape with a wood spatula or anything that will help flake off the plastic. OR 2. Petroleum jelly dissolves plastic. Then wipe off with old towel. OR 3. Soak it in acetone ( finger nail polish remover). OR 4. Make a paste of baking soda with a little water. it should dissolve plastic. ( Note - none of the recommendations other than my list were found in my search.)
