There are a variety of products that might work - Goo-Gone, WD-40, Goof-Off, mineral spirits. Wipe or spray them on and then wipe off.

Most of the liners are stapled to the frame. Move both sashes to the down position and pry the liner away from the frame a little. This should let you remove the staples. Then repeat the process for the bottom half. You should be able to remove the sashes and jamb liners in one motion. Some of the older systems will actually let you compress the liners and tilt the sash. (worth a try) WEAR SAFETY GLASSES, SOMETIMES THE SPRINGS TAKE OFF LIKE MISSILES!

Oh how do I hate hate those fugly flowers. I find it kind of funny especially when the cactus is blooming in store at the same time it has those ugly straw flowers. Cactus have IMHO the most beautiful flowers and then they glue those clown flowers on. What I do is vey carefully try to pick off the glue with tweezers as much as I can. Then sometimes i will have to cut a few spines, but I have yet to rip any spines or flesh using this method. Goodluck:)

And just for fun....there is "yellow" painter's tape called "delicate surfaces". That's the 'nicest' tape on the market. And the OTHER thing you want to keep in mind....don't leave the tape in place for more than a few days. And if you move the tape and find it is peeling the paint - STOP! Find a hair dryer and use HEAT to soften the glue on the tape. The softening will allow the tape to pull away from the paint instead of taking the paint off with the tape.
